Making a big jump was the big man from Bergen Catholic in Chris Vigna Chris Vigna 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ . Perhaps Vigna’s best attribute and the envy of all other linemen is his ability to move laterally. Doing so allows him to consistently beat people to the free grass and create stalemates at the line of scrimmage. Vigna continues to be a road grader and option number 1 to run behind, especially when his assignment is a down block. He really excelled this season and getting both vertical and horizontal displacement on double teams and looks to have improved his bend since the last time we checked in on him.

Despite his towering size, his ability to play with significant leverage makes him critical in moving defensive players out of position.

Vigna’s low center of gravity allows him to dominate at the point of attack, consistently opening up lanes for the running backs. In today’s matchup, Bergen Catholic will undoubtedly look to run behind him early and often. As a key cog in their offense, Vigna’s performance will be crucial to setting the tone against IMG Academy’s formidable defensive front.

Going into the season we figure the number 1 team in the state’s anchor along the offensive line would end up playing college football somewhere, right? Recruiting picked up for Chris Vigna Chris Vigna 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ once the season got underway. At the end of September, Vinga received an offer from Boston College. Following suit from there, Virginia Tech, Duke, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Cincinnati all proceeded with scholarship offers as well.
