makes it difficult for any runner to get away from him once they are within in his grasp. Capable of blowing up a play before it can get started, Che’ is stronger than the blockers he lines up against and can drive them backwards to a clear a path to the runner. Displaying lateral quickness and playing very fast and twitchy, Che’ is the linebacker I expect to rise the quickest off of the watchlist and into the rankings.

It was a tough call at the end of camp, but ultimately the coaches and scouts felt Patrick earned the Linebacker MVP award. The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder is a true Mike Linebacker and lives to make plays at the line of scrimmage, inside the tackle box. He’s a thick kid, so keeping that size in check will be crucial going forward. He’ll be at defending NJ State Champion Bergen Catholic next year.

Chè Patrick worked against a ton of super small twitchy running backs and at 200lbs he was able to really stick with them in coverage. Not many 200lb LBs can move like Patrick does let alone 8th grade 200lb football players. He moves his hips really well and can change direction quickly helping him close on the ball and make plays at the catch point on routes in front of him. Really solid performance on 1v1s from Patrick.
