was a bit of a mixed bag. In fairness to him, I probably need an extended look at the former regional top performer. I noted that his cuts were more deliberate than natural, and that he did not always finish his runs/reps. That said, DiBlasi showed a burst out into the flat when running routes. All that said, I probably need a second look at the Bergen Catholic-bound back.

‘s lower body build makes it apparent that he is an RB that can leg drive through would-be tacklers with ease. Early on at Rize, he had some difficulty with decelerating and getting his feet chopped down in tighter change of direction work, but he noticeably improved as the day progressed. Once the focus shifted into route work for the running backs, he looked more comfortable and began to find a better rhythm. In the passing game, Peter showed the ability to create separation against linebackers and present himself as a reliable outlet option for the quarterback.

Peter DiBlasi is one of those running backs that you can simply rely on to make plays when he gets the ball. He is an outstanding talent in this class of 2030 out of Jersey. He is another back to watch at the “RIZE” event and someone I think will perform well!

The second of three Westwood Cardinals headed to 1040 Oradell Avenue next fall, DiBlasi looks like a future stud at the Running Back position. As mentioned above, he was a BCJFL All-Star in 2025, but as this writeup explains, he was a man amongst boys the ball in his hands. DiBlasi enters high school with a muscular build on his 5-foot-8, 150-pounds frame. This past January the do-it-all ‘Back was a standout at the New Jersey Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp, where he was clocked at a 4.72 in the forty and recorded an 8-foot broad jump. As he continues to grow, if his breakaway speed continues to rival and/or surpass his quick-burst and acceleration — it’s going to be a long four years for opposing defenses.

. The muscled up prospect with a short, powerful gate didn’t wait long to show off his ability. DiBlasi kicked off the BCJFL All-Star Game scoring with an untouched 90-yard scamper on the first play of the Red All-Star Team’s second possession of the game. As good as the first touchdown was, DiBlasi leveled up on the opening series of the second half. The would-have-been Punt Returner intercepted an errant thrown on a fake punt, and proceeded to bring the ball back 42 yards for a touch down.
