South Dakota State Prospect Camp 2: Honorable Mention Standouts

To round out PrepRedzone's June tour of the Missouri Valley Conference and as many of the Upper Midwest prospect camps as possible, PRZ made the drive from River Falls post-UWRF MNWI Mega Camp to beautiful Brookings, South Dakota, for the FCS heavyweight Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer. South Dakota State, the 2022 and '23 FCS national champs, really know how to put on a well-run high school football prospect camp, and the talent of attendees, level of coaching, drill work and exercises, was amongst the best we've seen in our growing years of scouting and evaluating on the summer camp circuit. The Jacks' began the camp with the OL and DL going to battle in the trenches, then held specialists in-between sessions as more than 800 skill players descended on the First Bank & Trust facilities to finish things out. That's a lot of football players. Indianola's [player_tooltip player_id='1607041' first='Rylan' last='Hilton'] is a no-doubt matchup nightmare from both the slot and the perimeter, and the under-the-radar rising senior was as comfortable with the route tree as he was athletic and eye-catching during testing. At 5'9, 170 lbs., Hilton popped off a 4.46 40, 4.31 pro, and 9'8 broad jump, excellent numbers up there with the best of the best at the camp, and he transitioned smoothly and terrifyingly effectively (from a DB's perspective) to 1v1 competition. The burner could win vertically seemingly at will, was smoothly and consistently creating separation and stacking DBs, and was twitchy, tough, and consistently winning reps against any and all competitors the SDSU prospect camp had to offer. Tough & scrappy yes, but Hilton was a very polished and effective route runner against a strong and diverse DB group in Brookings. This potential breakout star earned offers from Wayne State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Sioux Falls thanks to his camp performance with the Jackrabbits. Hilton just announced his commitment to Sioux Falls today to play D2 football in the Northern Sun. Congrats, Rylan! This is what the Summer Camp SZN is all about.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/hilton_rylan/status/2067766560761004500 </div></figure>     As mentioned throughout our two PRZ recaps of the South Dakota State second & final prospect camp of the summer, the TE group that descended on Brookings for the camp was the strongest we saw all summer, both in top-end talent and depth. No wonder, as the Jackrabbits are the TEU of the Upper Midwest (behind the Iowa Hawkeyes), and the variety of body types and amount of collegiate upside was reflected well in the 2026 prospect camp #2 TE group. One of the most interesting of the bunch and especially of the 2027s was representing the Show-Me State and Kearney High School in Caleb Stevens, and all of his 6'4 1/4, 190 lb. frame, 6'7 wingspan, and 9 1/2" mitts. In addition to the First Team All-Eye Test frame, Stevens was putting in good work in his competitive group during blocking, showing off bend, technique, and physicality as a blocker, not to mention finishing ability and some good strength for his length, and he also popped off a 4.9 40, 4.67 pro, and 8'6 broad during testing.   The toolsy TE was also extremely nimble as a route runner and pass-catcher, and he was particularly smooth and effective at the top of the route against a variety of different LBs and even DBs. Big catch radius like you would hope from a kid of this size. Wish I got to see him in more 50/50 ball and contested catch situations but you gotta keep it moving at a camp of this size. On July 1st, Stevens announced his commitment to the University of Central Missouri to play DII ball in the MIAA. Another standout from the group who brought a unique body type and frame to the equation came out of the always-talented Sioux Falls area and Sioux Falls Jefferson High School. [player_tooltip player_id='1868104' first='Tyler' last='Bruske'], a 6'2+, 231 lber. with a 6'4" wing and 10" hands, popped off a 40 in the 4.9s, a 4.70 shuttle, and a 9' broad jump to highlight some fun athleticism at his bowling ball-esque size.   The South Dakota TE produced equally strong & effective showings in run and pass exercises. In run blocking 1v1 drills against LBs, Bruske was exploding off the snap eyes up and with good pad level, creating impressive collisions that were winning at the contact point. Bruske was also displaying the strength and toughness to be a formidable and asset as an blocker at the collegiate level, and he had impressive juice as a route runner and pass catcher as well. PRZ especially liked his footwork at the top of the route, which did a couple LBs particularly dirty throughout the 1v1 session. And a productive one, at that! PRZ was fresh off seeing McCormack competing well at NDSU the weekend previous, and he was once again a beast in the trench while in Brookings. McCormack, who came in 6'1, 243 lbs., with a 75 1/2" wing (6'3.5"), and 9 3/8" hands, and he is a good athlete at his size who is a big-time competitor padded up and in 1v1 run and pass block settings, when it matters most and the competition is the toughest. Against a strong DL group, McCormack's base and footwork, not to mention the lateral agility and patience, easily allowed him to handle some of the twitchier DL in attendance at the SDSU Jackrabbits' prospect camp. He displayed heavy hands, a great first step off the snap brings the attack to the DL and still keeps himself square and in good position, and excellent, excellent balance. PRZ never seemed to see this dude slip up or get himself out of position, and he does a great job of adjusting post-contact to handle counters and floundering DL as they attempt to bail themselves out with strength alone. We also were impressed with how he demonstrated how he can fight and readjust for hand placement mid-rep, but is strong enough that he can hold up rushers by keeping square alone. McCormack flashed some powerful finishes and wins against good DL group and even shut down an SDSU offeree and commit a couple of good times for good measure.   McCormack committed to MSU-Moorhead on June 28th, a great pickup for the Dragons netted from the Ralston's product Summer Camp SZN performance.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/AJ_McCormack77/status/2067791265291530600 </div></figure>     Speaking of consistent presences on the 2026 Summer Camp Trail, Lakeville North's [player_tooltip player_id='1634068' first='Zion' last='Davis'] has been putting in serious work this past month and a half. A standout at multiple Upper Midwest camp stops in 2026, Davis was a clean cut, no-doubt Top Performer & Standout from the RB group that descended on SDSU's second & final prospect camp of the summer. The bendiest and smoothest RB during drill work and route running drills, not to mention pass pro reps from the RB position, and he came in at a powerful 5'9, 200 lbs. with a rock solid build and a dynamic, multi-faceted, do-it-all utility skillset that is really going to tear it up at MN's 6A level this fall. Sioux Falls and MSU-Mankato were a couple programs I noticed watching Casey intently during the prospect camp in Brookings.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/ZionDavis2028/status/2067788606714806381 </div></figure>     Now that I have a few busy Summer Camp SZNs under my belt, I'm comfortable proclaiming that La Crosse Aquinas is one of my favorite Upper Midwest programs to see recruits from on the camp trail. The Blugolds' 2027 iOL Chase Schams is every bit of a beefy beast in the trenches that the Great State of Wisconsin traditionally and consistently produces so well at, and he measured in at the SDSU second & final prospect camp of the summer at 6' 1/4", 300.2 lbs., with a 76 3/4 wing (6'4 3/4), and 9 1/2 hands., with some good testing times and verified athleticism to back him, not to mention the great build and some strong Wisconsin starting varsity experience.   Schams was beating, as well as physically dominating, some impressive DL competition from a variety of Upper Midwest states, as his excellent base, strength and power at the point of attack, and balance were showing up extremely well during 1v1s, especially in pass pro reps. Schams could still win reps when a DL is playing half a man, and his footwork and balance post-contact, even against very powerful DTs and 3Ts, was shutting down rushers in their tracks. Schams gets up and into DL early off the snap, brings the fight to the rusher, and has heavy hands that stun and freeze DL at his initial strike effective. He also flashed impressive lateral agility that helps him stay in front of rushers all throughout a rep and is/was a physical finisher when given the opportunity. Michigan Tech, Drake, MSU-Moorhead, UW-River Falls, Bemidji State, SMSU, Upper Iowa, UWEC, UW-Platteville, Minot State, Augsburg, and Whitewater have all offered this summer. The 2028 stud RB has some of the best film and measurables in the class, and he backed up in person at SDSU's second & final prospect camp of the summer. Legit 6'+ and 190 lbs., popped off a 4.8 40, 4.6 shuttle, and 8'7 broad jump during testing, and showed off light feet, impressive acceleration, and a developing dynamic skillset that was working hard to flash and find success against a very talented and aggressive LB group that had descended on Brookings that day.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Bryce_Beyer10/status/2055346658653663610 </div></figure>     It's always fun seeing Harrisburg prospects in pads, especially from their trenches. 2027 OC [player_tooltip player_id='1321168' first='Easton' last='Dekkers'] manufactured an impressive overall body of work during the Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer and looked especially comfortable and effective during pass pro reps against a good DL group that day in Brookings. Consistent in his body positioning, active, strong hands, and a great base that was stonewalling rushers and absorbing then redistributing contact efficiently from the middle of the LOS. Dekkers is strong, balanced, and can bend those hips well. Morningside, Dakota Wesleyan, Augustana (SD), and Sioux Falls all involved right now.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Easton_Dekkers/status/2068833989289238804 </div></figure>     PRZMN was very much on the hunt for Lake of 10,000 Lakes' prospects at South Dakota State's second & final prospect camp of the summer, and we were delighted to see an Owatonna Husky in attendance in Brookings. A highly-touted OL from the MN 2027 class, Dulas measured in at 6'2 1/4", 275.2 lbs., with a massive 6'8" wingspan and 9 1/2" hands, and he recorded some impressive testing times at his size as well.   Dulas displayed strong initial strike gets up and under rushing DL, effectively I may add, and he does a good job of keeping his feet active post contact. The 507 OL can absorb strong power rushes when he drops that anchor and sinks his hips post-contact, and he owns great balance, and love how he adjusts and constantly works for ideal interior hand placement throughout a rep and rush attempt. He had a particularly strong rep and win against a well-built fellow 5A EDGE that required very quick feet, a good get-off from the snap, and the strength and foot step to cut off an explosive edge rusher and disallow him from turning the corner or running the hoop at the top of the arc. SMSU offered thanks to his performance at camp, and Dulas earned an offer from FCS St. Thomas a couple days later in St. Paul.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DulasSamuel/status/2067662947795579179 </div></figure>     A monster OL from Nebraska, Gretna East's Logan Wilson measured in at nearly 6'2, as well as 261 lbs., a 81 1/2 wing (nearly 6'10"), and 10" hands, and he recorded very impressive athletic testing times to open up the camp, namely a 5.26 40, 4.38 shuttle, and 8'6 broad. Wilson, from our limited watch on him, had some of the heaviest hands of the OL group and was creating some serious collisions and power at his initial strike, as well as throughout a rep and rush, during pass pro 1v1s. Wilson committed to his home state NSIC squad Wayne State couple weeks later. Great pickup for the Wildcats!   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Logan_W1lson/status/2072442731389943880 </div></figure>     A high-ceiling OL prospect out of Bismarck, North Dakota, 2028 Asher Ziegler has some serious tools and traits working for him going into his upperclassmen campaign with Legacy High School. A First or Second Team All-Eye Test selection, Ziegler measured in 6'3 3/4, 239 lbs. with a 78 1/4" wing and 9 1/2" hands, and he nearly went sub-5-second in the shuttle and nearly 8' in the broad jump as well. The length was an asset in pass pro settings, and he had nimble feet that created a good foundation of skills to work with from a collegiate or high school OL perspective. Still growing into his body, but he was tough, laterally agile, showed some bend, and was one of the most coachable kids PRZ saw during the Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/asher_z01/status/2067665667491279076 </div></figure>     Representing another Kearney High School, this time coming out of Nebraska and the Great Plains. Working hard in an underclassmen group of OL/DL, Thatcher was dominating at times, and he displayed good quickness during drill work and applied and effective lateral agility during pass pro 1v1s. PRZ also saw Thatcher also dished out some mean and physically impressive finishes while padded up in Brookings as well. The 2028 also measured in at 6'2 1/2, 315.6 lbs, 79 1/2" wing, 9 1/2" hands, went near sub-5-second in the shuttle, and already holds an offer from Hastings College.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/KaylThatcher/status/2067320001413927033 </div></figure>     There's a lot of ways to describe Columbus High School's 2028 RB Evvann Daniels, but you can sum it up well by simply stating that he's a dang good football player. The Nebraska Class A 100M state champion, though undersized, Daniels owns rare and explosive athleticism that was on bright display at the Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of 2026. The 2028 tailback clocked a 4.37 40, 4.23 pro-agility, and 9'11 broad jump, and he was as tough, competitive, and coachable as he was athletic, which is obviously saying something. In one of the more physical and competitive drills that PRZ saw all Summer Camp SZN, Daniels was stepping up and asserting himself against an aggressive and physically impressive LB group that day in Brookings, and it's safe to say that the Nebraska native was isn't scared of contact, nor competition. Daniels was also nearly unguardable out of the backfield as a route runner and passer, was the most explosive RB of the group, and had some juice in pass protection from the backfield as well. I don't use this phrase often, but 2028 Evvann Daniels is a dog!   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/EvvannDaniels/status/2068137455987855527 </div></figure>     There's always going to be Front-7 talent at Dowling Catholic in West Des Moines. The Maroons' are currently home to an interesting 2028 TE prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='1588706' first='Leyton' last='Oldfield'], who showed up and showed out at the SDSU Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer. Coming in at 6'2+ and 200 lbs. while rocking a 6'5" wing and 9 3/4" hand size, Oldfield popped off a 4.9 40, 4.71 shuttle, and 8'6" broad before manufactured an eye-catching performance during 1vs as a route runner and pass catcher, displaying one of the biggest catch radiuses in attendance and pulling in some tough catches while fully extended and in the midst of sticky coverage. Could be a breakout season for this Des Moines product.   @Leyton_Oldfield     PRZ was fortunate enough to get an early and in-depth look and evaluation at an exciting freshman TE out of South Dakota with the chance to really make some waves on the Upper Midwest and potentially national recruiting scene. Already a verified 6'4, 236 lbs. and rocking a 6'6 1/2 wingspan, Porisch is a good athlete with some strong verified testing times backing his gargantuan frame that produced 18 receptions and 19 yards per catch + one TD as a freshman. The younger brother of Huron's 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1568287' first='Anderson' last='Porisch'], a NSIC-offered 6'5, 220 lb. QB/ATH, Porisch is trending towards the OL in the coming years if he keeps this growth up, which is good, because he's a mauler in the trenches and a fantastic blocker who was really asserting himself physically against a big, talented group of LBs that descended on Brookings. Fires off the snap with aggression, good pad level, and physicality driving those hips, and he created noticeable and impressive pop as a blocker as well. Porisch was also an effective and physical reach blocker, a mean finisher, and earned himself a ton of "good rep" compliments from SDSU TE coach Vince Benedetto throughout the session of work and competition.     <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/CarterPorisch81/status/1998751879778402697 </div></figure>    Defense    Representing Clarion, Iowa, population ~ 2,800, as well as the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows co-op football program, a Class 1A competitor, Huxley Lingenfelter was one of PrepRedzone's favorite prospects of the entire SDSU Jackrabbits' Camp #2. In addition to his obvious All-Name Team status, Lingengelter was a First Team All-Eye Test selection from yours truly, as the stud LB measured in at 6'3, 202 lbs., with a 6'3" wingspan and 9 1/2" hands, not to mention verified speed, twitch, and especially explosiveness that showed up in all phases of the camp, beginning with testing. Led by a 9'2 broad jump, Lingenfelter then transitioned into 1v1 padded competition seamlessly was one of PRZ's favorite watches of the SDSU Jacks' second & final prospect camp of the summer. Rocking his black jersey with CGD's "Cowboys" plastered on the front, Lingenfelter displayed some of the strongest and most violent hands of the entire camp, and the amount of pop he was able to generate, not to mention the impressive strength and ability to consistently extend and lock out his arms was really giving the loaded TE group trouble during run blocking/defeat drills. Additionally, Lingenfelter was also one of the best and most physical defenders of the entire camp during 1v1, man-on-man alleyway periods versus the RBs, and he was stepping up and hungry for reps with noticeable competitiveness. Strong and technically sound tackler with physicality and aggressiveness in droves. University of Sioux Falls was all over Lingenfelter, who offered the linebacker in late May, and Lingenfelter also has earned offers from Missouri Western, Northwest Missouri State, and Northern Iowa.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/HuxleyLing7/status/2060109518562889740 </div></figure>     One of the best, most fun, most football-esque watches of the entire South Dakota State Jackrabbits' prospect camp #2 goes to Liberty, Arizona's Brecken Garday. An ATV of a 5'10, 210 lber. Garday was no-doubt the pound-for-pound strongest, most eye-catching, and most physical prospect in all of Brookings that day. Plus, he's athletic, poppinf off a 4.85 40, 4.59 pro, and 8'9 broad jump. His impressively heavy hands helped Garday easily shock and excellent pad level and heavy hands stunned opponents in run blocking/defeat 1v1 drills& shed blocks from even the largest TEs the camp had to offer, and his excellent pad level and heavy hands stunned opponents in run blocking/defeat 1v1 drills. Impressively, physically-dominant strength + violence + powerful combination during alley way drills and competition against RBs, and was also comfortable and effective in pass D thanks, in large part, to his quick twitch muscles. Rising senior DE [player_tooltip player_id='1665907' first='Wyatt' last='Buxton'] measured in at 6'2+, 234 lbs. 77 1/2" wing (6'5+), and massive 10 1/2" hands, and he sweetened the pot by adding a 5.04 40, 4.9 pro, and 9'6 broad jump to the equation. Buxton tore it up during 1v1s and especially in pass rush settings, as he's twitched up and then some for his size, owns a great get-off and overall pad level for his height and overall size, and plays OT's hands well in their attempted initial strike. Buxton beat big-time NSIC offered OTs to their inside shoulder with eye-catching easeYet another physically impressive, verified athletic, and high-ceiling prospect out of Anoka and the Tornadoes 2027 class. An easy selection for First Team All-Eye Test and First-off-the-Bus recognition, Rummel was nothing short of dominant during one of the toughest, most physical, put-up-or-shut-up drills we saw all summer, and he was manhandling RBs with as much physicality, strength, and aggression as we saw from a LB in a while. Big collisions, technically-sound, overpowering tackles, and eating blocking attempts for breakfast, Rummel was a Man Amongst Boys in Brookings last month.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Tayten1324/status/2067441839175614967 </div></figure>     Finally got to see Barnesville's [player_tooltip player_id='1633886' first='Owen' last='Thorkildson'] live! A First Team All-Eye Test Team selection who came in at 6'3, 230 lbs. with a 78" wing and 9" hands, Thorkindson popped off an 8'7 broad jump during testing to start off his strong performance at the SDSU Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer. Good combination of power and quickness, was especially impressive and effective in 1v1 run blocking/defeat drills, and earned some hard-fought wins during 1v1 pass-rush reps against a good group of OT competition.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/othork85/status/2027894886595264566 </div></figure>     One of the more consistent, stock rising, and tough competitors and prospects PRZ saw this past month, Andrew Chromy owns some real-deal juice from the interior of the DL. Representing one of the premier positions on the recruiting trail, Chromy once again had a good showing at yet another D1 prospect camp, this time in Brookings at the SDSU Jackrabbits' second & final camp of the summer. Measured in at 6' 1/2", 291 lbs. with a 73 1/2" wing and 9" hands, Chromy popped off a 4.78 shuttle and 8'1 broad jump during testing before transitioning into yet another productive and effective session of 1v1 competition, both in run and pass block/defeat settings. Measured in at a hulking 6'2 1/2, 330 lbs. with a 79 1/2 wingspan and 9 3/4" mitts, Greenfield clocked a 5.18 pro-agility and 8'3 broad during testing. He also showed off good foot speed, a powerful and balanced base, good bend for a big guy, and a ton of power, especially in run blocking situations and settings. Took some lumps during 1v1 pass rush/pro reps but he's got some rarer athleticism and ability for a OL of his size. Working with the second group of DL at the SDSU Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer, Hanson was towering over his peers physically, and he measured in at 6'3, 206 lbs. with a 6'5+ wingspan and 9 3/8" hands. The overall frame and measureables were screaming "I'm not done growing" and "I'm ready to pack on the pounds", and Hanson also produced a 4.9 40, 4.41 pro-agility, and 8' broad jump to sweeten the pot of his potential college suitors. Additionally, he had a great motor, noticeable twitch, physicality and toughness, a good get-off weighted by his massive calves, and advantageous length that he knew how to use as a pass rusher. Big-time sleeper from MN's 2027 class! Strong and powerful in offset base and run blocking/defeat drills, Sorensen also produced a 5.0 40, 4.8 shuttle, and 8' broad jump during testing and was putting it to good use especially well during pass rush reps later in the session. So much power, and his get-off, twitch, and strong hand usage all showed up well during 1v1 competition. Meet [player_tooltip player_id='2236601' first='Joshua' last='Ryther'], a member of Anoka's very exciting DB unit going into 2026 with a great combination of size and athleticism working for him as a rising senior. A starter last season with the Tornadoes, Ryther has done a great job of developing his body and sharpening his toolkit this offseason, and he measured in at 6', 193 lbs. with a 6' 1/2" wing and some strong athletic times to boot, namely a 4.71 40, 4.41 pro, and 9' broad. Ryther was also an eye-catcher in drill work, with loose hips, quick feet, ball skills, and range from the defensive secondary and as a MOF defender. Didn't get to see him during 1v1s unfortunately, but the athletic profile and returning varsity 6A experience with Anoka is exciting in and of itself. First off, Wright came in at 6'1 3/4", 248.4 lbs., 76" wing, and big, strong 9 7/8 hands that he knew how to use with ruthless efficiency. With big-time size, Wright also popped off a 5.09 40, 4.90 shuttle, and 8'7 broad, impressive numbers for his size, and after digging into Wright's athletic profile it wasn't hard to find that he's a 2026 Class 1A 215-pound state champion in the Iowa prep wrestling scene. Talk about packing on the pounds! As mentioned, those strong, heavy, active hands were knocking OL off-balance and out-of-position with regularity, and he was able to go speed-to-power about as well as any DL in attendance. Wayne State, Black Hills State, Southwest Minnesota State, MSU-Mankato all involved right now, but this dude is a legit wrestling prospect as well. A steady presence on the 2026 Summer Camp Circuit, Wayzata Trojan [player_tooltip player_id='1614593' first='Felipe' last='Neves'] measured in at 5'10 3/4, 203 lbs. and was a standout placekicker, punter, and kickoff specialist with a big leg and noticeable accuracy, especially on his FGs. Curtis made the finals in all three of the specialists events: field goal, punting, and kickoff, and he measured in at a powerful and well-built 5'11 1/4 and 217 lbs., perfectly measured to kick and punt the ball with accuracy and pinpoint placement with consistency. To round out PrepRedzone's June tour of the Missouri Valley Conference and as many of the Upper Midwest prospect camps as possible, PRZ made the drive from River Falls post-UWRF MNWI Mega Camp to beautiful Brookings, South Dakota, for the FCS heavyweight Jackrabbits' second & final prospect camp of the summer. South Dakota State, the 2022 and '23 FCS national champs, really know how to put on a well-run high school football prospect camp, and the talent of attendees, level of coaching, drill work and exercises, was amongst the best we've seen in our growing years of scouting and evaluating on the summer camp circuit. The Jacks' began the camp with the OL and DL going to battle in the trenches, then held specialists in-between sessions as more than 800 skill players descended on the First Bank & Trust facilities to finish things out.
