It’s always fun seeing Harrisburg prospects in pads, especially from their trenches. 2027 OC

manufactured an impressive overall body of work during the Jackrabbits’ second & final prospect camp of the summer and looked especially comfortable and effective during pass pro reps against a good DL group that day in Brookings. Consistent in his body positioning, active, strong hands, and a great base that was stonewalling rushers and absorbing then redistributing contact efficiently from the middle of the LOS. Dekkers is strong, balanced, and can bend those hips well. Morningside, Dakota Wesleyan, Augustana (SD), and Sioux Falls all involved right now.

. The 6’0 260 pounder is in our top-tier when it comes to the most technically sound offensive linemen in the state of South Dakota, as Easton didn’t allow a sack last season for a reason. When Easton gets his hands on someone whether it is in the interior or out in space, you can assure he’s going to have balanced pad-level, well-placed hands, and pure finshing ability. I’ll be very intrigued to see how the Tigers offensive lines up against the rest of 11AAA, as they right are an early pre-season favorite as one of my favorite offensive lines in that class.

Easton is up nearly 20 spots from our last 2027 South Dakota rankings update as one of the most gifted offensive linemen amongst our stockrisers from a technique perspective. The 6’0 240 pounder from Harrisburg, demonstrates quickly that he is a block until that whistle blows offensive linemen as his first clip on his junior tape not only showed great hand placement, pad-level, and footwork but he showed what a superb finisher he is at the point of attack. He’s also has the foot speed you want in your OL room as a pulling guard. I feel he could play muliple spots in the offensive trenches at the next-level, but man what I see as a guard would really intrigue me as a evaluator. Don’t let the size misguide you, as I would surely take a shot on Easton if I were a D2 recruiter.

Easton is a tape you won’t want to miss from Week 4-6 as the first clip should quickly catch OL coaches attention as a pulling guard that gets downhill into the second level and wins with leverage. The now 6’0 245 pounder plays miles above his measurables and you can tell Easton has taken up some notches with his foot speed and agility from a season ago. He seems to keep growing every time I peak at his tape, which is a good sign for this 2027 that scholarship level programs should have on their board.

Easton is an offensive linemen that if I could clone myself, I wish I would have watched more of his reps but what I did see was super intriguing and shows that he is due to be a stockriser in this 2027 class. He showed off one the most athletic bends I saw amongst the interior offensive linemen at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and that wasn’t all either. He was also impressive with his pad-level, and possessed the quick hand speed to adjust on his blocks when he needed to. He also showed off sound hip drive in the reps I watched and that was consistent too throughout the reps I watched. Easton has a big bump coming upwards in our next 2027 rankings update, as the live eval always does the justice in the offensive trenches especially coming from a OL hotbed like Harrisburg has had for years.

Easton is a 2027 stockriser in this South Dakota class that already has wasted no time getting on the college camp trail last summer which intrigues me. He shows off as somewhat limited on the tape front, but I gauge early that Easton is an offensive linemen that constantly blocks until that whistle blows and the tape doesn’t waste time to show that off. Does an excellent job getting downhill leverage for his size and already shows he can get to the second level with that drive. He shows off a consistency with solid pad-level on tape as a 2027 center that I feel could grow his frame significantly from this offseason and his senior year. Always like a kid with a powerlifting background like Easton has.

Easton is a 2027 stockriser in this South Dakota class that already impresses us with how hard he has hit the college camp trail already. Sort of limited on the tape front, but I can catch early that Easton is one those offensive linemen that blocks until that whistle blows and I like a lot how he didn’t take long on tape to show that. Does an excellent job getting downhill leverage for his size and already shows he can get to the second level with that drive. He shows off a consistency with solid pad-level on tape as a 2027 center that I feel could grow his frame significantly from this offseason and his senior year. The powerlifting background also is intriguing with his ceiling to grow.
