Speaking of consistent presences on the 2026 Summer Camp Trail, Lakeville North’s Zion Davis Zion Davis 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB/WR Lakeville North | 2028 State MN has been putting in serious work this past month and a half. A standout at multiple Upper Midwest camp stops in 2026, Davis was a clean cut, no-doubt Top Performer & Standout from the RB group that descended on SDSU’s second & final prospect camp of the summer. The bendiest and smoothest RB during drill work and route running drills, not to mention pass pro reps from the RB position, and he came in at a powerful 5’9, 200 lbs. with a rock solid build and a dynamic, multi-faceted, do-it-all utility skillset that is really going to tear it up at MN’s 6A level this fall. Sioux Falls and MSU-Mankato were a couple programs I noticed watching Casey intently during the prospect camp in Brookings.

Accompanied by his father, the Davis family, led by 2028 Lakeville North Zion Davis Zion Davis 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB/WR Lakeville North | 2028 State MN , has been a mainstay on the 2026 Upper Midwest regional camp circuit, both in attendance and overall performance. A starter for the 6A Panthers in 2025, Davis is in the midst of a strong offseason, and he is really looking put together during the summer and through the various stops we’ve seen Davis at. I was a bit inbetween in terms of positional projection for Davis, but his performances at these camps has me solidified in Davis heading to play RB at the next level. Very well-rounded, Davis is strong, tough, and very balanced, with a center of gravity that is very hard to get out of position or off-balance, no matter the situation. Shifty, concise light footwork, was a physical, high-technique RB in pass protection, and was a strong, dynamic route runner with better hands than a lot of the WRs in attendance. Davis was generating some serious hype amongst the colleges in attendance, was a class favorite, and was even generating some buzz from the hosting Bison. Should be a big junior season and year on the recruiting trail for this Lakeville North Panther.

MN Go Get It

Fresh off a strong sophomore campaign with the 6A Panthers, sophomore MN Go Get It 18U and 15U standout Zion Davis Zion Davis 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB/WR Lakeville North | 2028 State MN had another strong in-person exposure point with PRZMN at the NSC 7v7 Open Run on NYE. One of the better route runners in attendance, Davis owns a build that can hang and find success through contact against upperclassmen defenders at the catch point, and he did a good job of creating separation at various points throughout a route. Versatile and dynamic on both sides of the ball as well.

Zion was a wide receiver I wish I could have gotten to watch on more reps, but I came away impressed in the reps I did watch out of the 2028 wide receiver out of Lakeville North. On the eye test, I thoguht Zion appeared longer than his measurables show especially with the strides I got to watch during routes on air as he showed off as one of the more well-put together wide receivers in the 2028 group as far as his frame. Zion also brought an intriguing football IQ to his reps that I saw, especially once the ball reached into his wheelhouse. Surely a 2028 target that has solid position flexibility to utilize for the Panthers in the coming years. Twitter
