Despite their struggles last season, Lakeville North will benefit with multiple returning starters to bolster the offense, among those being premier TE prospect

. Kemp led the offense in receiving last season with 138 yards on 12 catches and 2 TDs. While he held a limited sample size for catches, Kemp flashed with strong hands and shows potential as a vertical threat with has the length and physicality to make catches through traffic as well as an impressive high-point range. While the Panthers struggled with just 1 win last season, Kemp’s efforts have certainly not been overlooked, and he will certainly be one of the focal leaders for the Panthers entering his senior season.

Again, most of my eyes during the second session seemed to lead towards the defensive side of the ball, but the lone tight end that hit my radar is our TE3 in the 2027 is

, yet another one that caught our attention out of Lakeville North. This young man showed off the well-versed hands for his age and what’s even more impressive is the few reps I watched out of Brady were consistently in high traffic areas making his hands even more impressive. The verified 6’5 nearly 240 pounder from the Panthers showed off another pass catchers that brings well-versed instincts as one that I feel has a sound upside still to grow as a 2027 prospect.

will be a big-time TE in the state’s 2027 class, and maybe even regionally. With no Twitter or sophomore film at the time, PRzMN stumbled upon Kemp live and in-person at the Augsburg University Skills Camp last month, and sporting both a baby face and an eye-catching 6’3-6’4, 215+ lb. frame with noticeable length and room to fill, quite a contrast and is exciting in both the already present size and amount of time left for him to grow, eat, and develop. At the Augsburg Skills Camp, we noted that Kemp: “had a strong showing during indy and 1v1s, showing good speed for his size, a smooth gait and solid body control, and a huge catch radius. Kemp also showed off some high point and contested catch ability in a couple of strong 1v1 wins and receptions, and he has soft hands to go along with his ball skills and athletic ability.” His legit size, top-end speed, natural COD ability, and soft hands had me very excited, especially with him coming out of a Lakeville North program that has generated high-end TEs before as well as overall physical prospects. Things are a bit less of a mystery after Kemp uploaded his tape from the 2024 season. With 5 varsity appearances, highlighted by two catches for 21 yards and a TD against Hopkins, Kemp showed he had the strength for 6A run blocking and the finesse to prove himself as an option in the passing game. He’s a physical blocker who can go toe-to-toe with LBs and DEs and win at the contact point and drive his feet after contact, and his long arms and balance help win pass pro reps against DEs as well. He’s a tall kid with some flexibility, and has a great rep against Hopkins where he gets out into space at the perimeter to set the edge for a WR tunnel screen, and with a full head of steam, Kemp laid the wood in crushing fashion on a DB, sprawling him backward and off his feet like a cannonball hit near his feet in a movie scene. Get used to the Lakeville North 2027 TE, I don’t see him leaving the upper echelons of the TE rankings anytime soon, especially if he’s got some solid athletic numbers.
