Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Sorensen flashed upside offensively and defensively for Clear Creek Amana in 2025. The junior posted 15.5 tackles, seven of which were solo stops. He registered 4.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He caught four passes for 47 yards as a tight end. Sorensen shows off his athleticism and broad base of talents during his 11th-grade highlight video. He’s rangy and quick coming off of the edge. Long arms and active hands help in separating from blocks. He’s an obstacle in passing lanes, too. Quickness off of the snap and speed make it difficult for offensive tackles to square him up. Straight-line speed aids him in pursuing the ball. Sorensen operates with balance to keep himself in plays. It’s a set of skills that also work well at tight end as a quality target in the passing game and a blocker for the rush. Sorensen still has room to fill out, adding to his potential as a player that could help a roster on the next level.
