[player_tooltip player_id='1837351' first='Alec' last='Shumard'] - Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Newcastle

Newcastle bounced back from a tough loss to Tuttle by taking care of former 4A foe Blanchard on Friday night. It was a complete performance from the Racers as they lit up the scoreboard, winning 63-40 on Friday night. Junior wide receiver and defensive back had a big night on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he caught seven passes for well over 100 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, he also added an interception that he returned for a touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='382955' first='Brady' last='Scott'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Hilldale

Our weekly top performer feature doesn't just include players from winning teams on Friday night. Hilldale dropped a competitive game to Fort Gibson but senior [player_tooltip player_id='382955' first='Brady' last='Scott'] still shined. He picked up where he left off last season, as one of the more dynamic wide receivers in Class 4A. In the loss to the Tigers, Scott accounted for well over 150 yards and three touchdowns. Scott is incredibly productive and more importantly, he's consistent as he does this on a weekly basis.

[player_tooltip player_id='467141' first='Brayden' last='Hardwick'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Pocola

Pocola continues to be one of the highest scoring teams in the state. They beat Spiro 72-12 on Friday night and whenever you have a team scoring 70+ points, you have a few different players you can spotlight. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='467141' first='Brayden' last='Hardwick'] has picked up where he left off last season as one of the more dynamic players in small school football. Hardwick caught three passes for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two punt returns for scores and an interception.

[player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] - Junior Running Back - Coweta

Coweta took down Fort Smith Northside in Arkansas Friday night. The Tigers rolled to a 44-20 victory and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] had one of the best performances of his career. The Coweta junior ran for over 280 yards and also had 36 yards receiving, finishing the night with well over 300 yards of total offense. Heilmann also scored three touchdowns in the win. Heilmann is definitely a player that makes Coweta a team to watch in Class 5A this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1748512' first='Cal' last='Whitnah'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Harrah

Harrah sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1748512' first='Cal' last='Whitnah'] has had a red hot start to his sophomore season. Whitnah is a quarterback that Harrah's coaches have told us to keep an eye out for and we see why. Whitnah shut out Western Heights Friday night and Whitnah was outstanding for the second straight week. The Harrah quarterback threw for nearly 150 yards and five touchdowns on 11-15 passing. He also added nearly 150 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='1838872' first='Cameron' last='Quarrels Jr']. - Junior Wide Receiver - Edmond Memorial

Last week, we wrote about Edmond Memorial junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1838872' first='Cameron' last='Quarrels Jr'] for the first time since his move from Arkansas. He backed it up by showcasing his talent in a 35-18 victory over Edmond North on Friday night. We're only three games in but Quarrels had his best game of the season in the win. He caught five passes for well over 150 yards and two touchdowns. There is no doubt that he's an electric playmaker for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='587269' first='Carmello' last='Williamson'] - Senior Athlete - Oaks Mission

Oaks Mission senior [player_tooltip player_id='587269' first='Carmello' last='Williamson'] is the first of two 8-man standouts from week two on this breakdown. We knew Williamson as a defensive standout for Nathan Hale but he's playing for his former coach at Oaks and he has turned into an absolute monster in all three phases of the game. Williamson ran for over 300 yards and six touchdowns on 23 carries. He also took a punt back for six as Williamson was a one-man wrecking crew in the 50-0 win over Cave Springs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1101281' first='Carter' last='Ricke'] - Senior Quarterback - Lincoln Christian

Lincoln Christian extended their win streak with a tough 41-33 win over perennial Arkansas powerhouse Shiloh Christian. Leading the way was senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1101281' first='Carter' last='Ricke'] and he had a true dual-threat performance Friday night. Ricke threw for 170 yards and a touchdown on 20-26 passing. He also added 137 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries. Lincoln Christian has now won 31 straight and have a week off before beginning district play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1343433' first='Cash' last='Worley'] - Junior Quarterback - Kiefer

Kiefer rallied to stun Vian in the final minute on Friday night. Kiefer's 30-29 victory over the Wolverines turned out to be one of the top finishes of week two and one of the best overall games. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1343433' first='Cash' last='Worley'] led the comeback and finished it off in the final minute. Worley threw for nearly 100 yards and ran for over 100 yards and accounted for multiple touchdowns. The last one was the biggest as Worley scored with less than a minute to play to clinch the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1830748' first='Cecil' last='Garrett'] - Senior Running Back - Claremore

Claremore rolled to a 46-6 victory over Oologah on Friday night and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1830748' first='Cecil' last='Garrett'] had a terrific performance. Garrett is a player that we definitely want to see more of this season. He passes the eye test as an overall prospect and he had the kind of game that could turn some heads around Class 5A and beyond. Garrett finished with just over 200 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. He also had a 15-yard touchdown catch in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='434614' first='CJ' last='Turnbull'] - Senior Quarterback - Putnam City

Putnam City dominated rival Putnam City North and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='434614' first='CJ' last='Turnbull'] had arguably the best performance of his long career. After starting for Millwood for three seasons, Turnbull moved over to Putnam City for his senior year. In the 56-14 win over PC North, Turnbull threw for over 300 yards and also added well over 150 yards on the ground. He also accounted for seven touchdowns in the win. Turnbull and the Pirates could make a lot of noise this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1695230' first='Curtis' last='Henley IV'] - Junior Running Back - Mangum

Mangum has rolled out to a fast start this season and week two was no different. The Tigers beat Hobart 65-16 and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1695230' first='Curtis' last='Henley IV'] had arguably the best performance of his career. It was certainly an efficient performance. Henley finished the night with just seven carries and still finished with just under 200 yards and two touchdowns. The Tigers have been on fire with the rushing attack as multiple players have stood out in that department.

[player_tooltip player_id='693905' first='Delijah' last='Matthews'] - Junior Running Back - Carl Albert

For the second straight week, Carl Albert junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='693905' first='Delijah' last='Matthews'] finds himself on this breakdown. It's quite the start for Matthews as the new marquee running back in the Carl Albert backfield. On Friday night, the Titans shut out Lawton Eisenhower and Matthews was done by halftime. In the first half, he ran the ball nine times for 166 yards and four touchdowns in the win. He has certainly backed up all the preseason hype surrounding his game.

Jattairrius Neal - Junior Running Back - Broken Bow

Broken Bow rolled to a 49-12 win over rival Idabel on Friday night and have started out the season with a 3-0 record and don't show any signs of slowing down. This week, junior running back Jattairrius Neal showed that the Savages have more playmakers on offense than just QB1 as he had a complete performance. Neal finished with over 150 yards on the ground and two touchdowns and he also had nearly 100 yards receiving and a touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] - Senior Running Back - Owasso

After back to back tough losses, Owasso got in the win column with a 45-17 win over Sand Springs Friday night. Despite the 1-2 start, a bright spot has been senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] and he's become one of the best overall running backs in the state. In the win Friday night, Hall finished with nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns. Before this season, Hall has always had to split carries but now he's the marquee Owasso running back and has shined.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] - Freshman Quarterback - Altus

Before the season, we talked about Altus freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] being our preseason favorite to be this year's Freshman Of The Year and he's certainly backing up the preseason hype. Altus is 3-0 on the season and Reed is a big reason why. In a 41-28 win over Cache Friday night, Reed had the complete performance on offense. He threw for 351 yards and four touchdowns on 28-40 passing. He also added 74 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045555' first='Joshua' last='Rushing'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Lawton MacArthur

Lawton MacArthur made quite the statement as they dominated rival Lawton to capture the city championship. The Highlanders have won their last two following a tough week zero loss to Elgin. Leading the way in Friday's win was senior wide receiver and Tulsa commit [player_tooltip player_id='1045555' first='Joshua' last='Rushing'] and it was one of the best WR performances of week two. Rushing caught six passes for over 170 yards and three touchdowns as the Highlanders improve to 2-1 on the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] - Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Jenks

For the third straight week, Jenks has a player on the top performer breakdown. For the first time it's not their star running back, although you could make the argument that he could be. Junior wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] expected to have more of a role on offense and he's emerged as arguably the top threat in the Jenks passing game. He finished with five catches for over 150 yards and two touchdowns in the 48-30 win over Union.

[player_tooltip player_id='935005' first='Kane' last='Foreman'] - Senior Quarterback - Pawhuska

Pawhuska dominated the second half, running away from rival Hominy, winning 44-27 on Friday night. The Huskies have been on a roll behind senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='935005' first='Kane' last='Foreman'] this season. Foreman has made the move from 8-man to 11-man football look easy so far this season. On Friday night, Foreman went 21-27 and accounted for over 350 yards and five touchdowns. Now, Foreman and the Huskies prepare to host Woodland on Friday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292085' first='Kellen' last='Fry'] - Senior Running Back/Linebacker - Cushing

Cushing dominated the second half in a 38-12 rivalry win over Perkins-Tryon. They actually trailed at halftime but with senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1292085' first='Kellen' last='Fry'] leading the way, the Tigers ran away with another win over the Demons. Offensively, Fry ran for nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, he also finished with nearly 20 tackles with two tackles for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery. It was a much better finish for Cushing than week one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] - Senior Quarterback - Metro Christian

Metro Christian made the short trip over to Cascia Hall and took advantage of some second half turnovers by the Commandos to run away with a 41-14 win. Leading the way in that second half fury was senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] and the rest of the Patriot offense. Eng couldn't be contained as he impacted the game as a passer and a runner. He accounted for 300 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in the victory. Eng has Metro Christian looking like a serious contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] - Senior Running Back/Linebacker - Sulphur

Sulphur looked to keep their momentum going after taking down Washington, they traveled to face another defending champ in rival Davis Friday night. There was no let down and the Bulldogs beat the Wolves 34-14 on Friday night. And it shouldn't be a surprise at this point as senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] was the star on both sides of the ball. He ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns and also had 13 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] - Junior Running Back - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow held off a Mustang rally, winning 21-14 on Friday night. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] continues to be a 2027 prospect that we're intrigued by and Friday was the perfect example of that. Roberson showed that he could absolutely be that workhorse back that carries a major workload. He finished with 28 carries for nearly 150 yards and a touchdown. Talking with some coaches prior to the game, it sounds like Roberson has taken that next step.

[player_tooltip player_id='1173979' first='Satank' last='Taptto'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Stillwater

Stillwater backed up their big week one win over Union by shutting out Stillwater 69-0. Similar to several of the teams represented on this breakdown, we could have picked from a few players for the Pioneers. But we're going with sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1173979' first='Satank' last='Taptto'] after he threw for nearly 200 yards and four touchdowns on 10-16 passing. Taptto has looked great in his first two career starts and the Pioneers need him to play like that as they go to Carl Albert Friday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1839360' first='Tyler' last='Collins'] - Sophomore Running Back/Linebacker - Paoli

Paoli sophomore running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1839360' first='Tyler' last='Collins'] is another 8-man standout from Friday night. Collins and the Pugs dominated Thackerville in week two, winning 82-36. Collins was unstoppable on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he accounted for over 300 yards of offense and four touchdowns in the win. Defensively, he also finished the night with eight tackles. Just a sophomore, we're keeping an eye on Collins moving forward this season.

Zack Jennings - Senior Wide Receiver - Bethel

Three weeks into the season, three straight Bethel players on this breakdown and three different players as the Wildcats look like a team to take seriously this season. This week, it was another high-scoring performance from the offense and we could have picked several different players. Bethel won 58-32 against McLoud. Senior wide receiver Zack Jennings is this week's standout after he caught six passes for nearly 150 yards and three touchdowns.

Zech Robinson - Junior Wide Receiver/Defensive End - Mount St. Mary

Mount St. Mary is off to a 2-0 start and the Rockets have simply been dominant to start the 2025 football season. This week, we could have picked several MSM standouts to feature here. We're going with junior wide receiver and defensive end Zech Robinson for his dominant performance on both sides of the ball. He finished the 55-6 win over the OKC Patriots with three sacks on defense and he also caught a touchdown pass. Robinson is one of many 2027 MSM prospects to watch.
