From big time performances in big games to clutch performances and stat sheet-stuffing performances, we have them all! Following games each week, you can submit your picks for top performers by tweeting at us @PrepRedzoneOK or emailing Michael@PrepRedzone.com. This week, we've reached a new high with 30 different players featured in this breakdown!

RELATED WEEK TWO CONTENT

– Week Two Scoreboard

– Week Two Round Up

WEEK TWO'S TOP PERFORMERS

[player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] - Senior Running Back/Linebacker - Mangum

Mangum is off to a 2-0 start this season and for the second straight week, senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] is a big reason why the Tigers won. Solis was solid once again as they would beat Hobart 35-14 on Friday night. The senior would finish with just over 100 yards on the ground on offense. He also added ten tackles and two tackles for loss on the defensive side of the ball. Solis was incredibly productive on both sides of the ball last week as well. Mangum is one of the teams to beat in Class A-2 and Solis has gotten off to a very fast start. He's going to be tough to contain on both sides of the ball.

Behr Boyd - Senior Linebacker - Norman

The Norman Tigers are 2-0 on the young season and they were absolutely dominant in the 34-14 win on the road against Edmond Santa Fe. In week one, they won a shootout over rival Norman North. In week two, the defense took center stage and really contained a solid Santa Fe offense. Senior linebacker Behr Boyd was terrific for the Tigers on defense. He would finish the night with ten tackles, one sack and he had an interception that he returned for a touchdown. The Norman senior linebacker has been on our radar for a while now and we think that he is criminally underrated across the state. He's one of the very best in 6A-1.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530096' first='Brayton' last='Carter'] - Sophomore Athlete - Stilwell

Stilwell sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1530096' first='Brayton' last='Carter'] would fit into the category of a player that had a "clutch performance" on Friday night. Stilwell would knock off Keys 21-20 and it was Carter's kick return that put Stilwell up for good and handed them the win. That was another way that Carter completely took over this game. On offense, Carter finished the night with just over 100 yards on seven catches. He also had nearly 200 yards in their season opener. On defense, Carter would finish with six tackles, three interceptions and a fumble recovery. He gave his team so many extra possessions with all of the turnovers and that's an underrated attribute.

[player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] - Senior Athlete - North Rock Creek

It's been a pretty good 48 hours for North Rock Creek senior [player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] and there's no debating that. First, Hawkins and North Rock Creek rolled to a 49-14 win over Prague and the Cougars find themselves as a 2-0 team to start the year and climbing up the 3A rankings. Hawkins would run for nearly 250 yards and four touchdowns on just ten carries. He also added a receiving touchdown on offense and seven tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Then on Saturday, Hawkins would tweet out that he was announcing his commitment to North Texas. Hawkins was one of the top available 2025 prospects but he's now off the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='968318' first='Canyon' last='Hindman'] - Senior Quarterback - Pawhuska

Pawhuska rolled to a big rivalry win over Hominy on Friday night. The Huskies beat the Bucks 46-24 and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='968318' first='Canyon' last='Hindman'] had a solid night throwing the ball all over the field. Hindman would finish with well over 300 yards and four touchdowns on 22-32 passing. He also added nearly 50 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Hindman came into this season on our radar and we liked the experience that he had as well as the playmakers returning around him. That made Hindman and Pawhuska a team to look out for and take seriously in Class A-1. They're now 3-0 and living up to all of that preseason hype from this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1322378' first='Cash' last='Trammel'] - Junior Quarterback - Vian

Two words come to mind as we looked back at Vian's 45-14 win over Kiefer. Balance and dominant. The Wolverines were led by their star junior running back last week in the season-opener but this week, it was definitely a collaborative effort and there were plenty of players that we could have put the spotlight on. We're going with junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1322378' first='Cash' last='Trammel'] here after he would throw for nearly 150 yards and four touchdowns. He spread the ball around and led this offense to a dominant showing. Trammel is new to the Vian program and definitely looks like he belongs. Now, they start preparing for a massive road test against a talented Pocola team.

Chris Razook - Sophomore Running Back - Community Christian

There are quite a few sophomores on this breakdown and Community Christian running back Chris Razook might have had the best performance of any sophomore in week two. He helped carry Community Christian to a 33-12 victory over Casady on Friday night. The sophomore would finish the night with 260 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. We weren't familiar with Razook prior to this weekend but he definitely captured our attention with his performance in week two. Community Christian avoided an 0-3 start with the win over Casady and now take the week off to prepare for arguably the toughest district in 2A-2.

Cooper Flowers - Junior Quarterback - Plainview

In week two, we saw a handful of Oklahoma teams square off with out of state competition and get big wins. Plainview was one of those squads as they would beat Bells, Texas 34-22 to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Junior quarterback Cooper Flowers was nearly perfect and effective as the Indians would roll to the win. He finished the night with 200 yards and three touchdowns on 18-20 passing. And when the updated Class 3A rankings come out on Sunday night, don't be surprised to see the Indians make a huge jump up the rankings. We've been impressed with them so far this season and Flowers should have some momentum after Friday.

[player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] - Junior Quarterback - Tuttle

Tuttle is 3-0 on the season and there is no doubt that the headline has been their passing attack through the first three games. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473754' first='Cruz' last='Campbell'] has been leading that passing attack and they rolled to a 56-7 win over Noble on Friday night. Campbell was another quarterback that was nearly perfect in the win. He threw for over 250 yards and four touchdowns on 9-10 passing. We wrote about Campbell a handful of times this offseason because of the improvements he's shown in the last 12 months. The junior signal caller has had an instant impact on the Tuttle offense and they are off to a fast start.

[player_tooltip player_id='511800' first='Dace' last='Shaw'] - Senior Athlete - Shawnee

Shawnee bounced back following a tough loss to Putnam City North with a statement win over Ardmore on Friday night. The Wolves had several players that stood out in the win but senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='511800' first='Dace' last='Shaw'] was an absolute monster on both sides of the ball. On offense, Shaw would finish the night with nearly 300 total yards and he would score four touchdowns on the night. Defensively, Shaw would also add 20 tackles and a fumble recovery. Shaw was one of our MVP winners from our April camp and he's clearly gotten off to a fantastic start to his senior season. We're looking forward to seeing how he continues to improve this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='917724' first='Darien' last='Dansby'] - Senior Running Back - Bristow

Bristow rolled to a 27-13 win over Berryhill on Friday night as they bounced back from a tough week one loss to Cushing. The Pirates were led by their senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='917724' first='Darien' last='Dansby'] in the win and it feels like Dansby has been starting for the Pirates for roughly seven seasons at this point. He was a breakout player very early on in his career and he had a solid performance against Berryhill. He would finish the night with just over 150 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. The 27-13 win was also the first victory for first year head coach Chris Cole. Dansby will look to use Friday night's performance as a springboard to his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='492378' first='Deakon' last='Jones'] - Sophomore Wide Receiver - Stillwater

Stillwater beat Enid 38-23 but this game was significantly closer than the final score indicated. The Pioneers trailed 23-10 at halftime but would outscore the Plainsmen 28-0 in the second half to run away with the win. Leading the way on Friday night was the Stillwater passing attack. Sophomore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='492378' first='Deakon' last='Jones'] was a player that was really tough to contain. He would finish the night with well over 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 11 receptions. In our opinion, Jones is one of the very best wide receivers and overall prospects in the state's 2027 class. He had a breakout freshman season and expects to elevate his game this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1235926' first='Drew' last='Frankenfield'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Owasso

Owasso has this week off after starting the season with a 3-0 record and looking really strong on the offensive side of the ball. The Rams beat Sand Springs 48-17 and sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1235926' first='Drew' last='Frankenfield'] continued his hot start as QB1 of the Rams. Frankenfield would throw for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns on 14-18 passing. We knew that Frankenfield was going to be the guy at QB1 for the Rams but the sophomore has exceeded all expectations coming into this season. He has played lights out and simply doesn't look like a sophomore who is starting his first three games against some of the best competition in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1067472' first='Fisher' last='Lai'] - Sophomore Wide Receiver - Cascia Hall

Cascia Hall came up short in their week two showdown with Metro Christian. They fell 21-14 but sophomore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1067472' first='Fisher' last='Lai'] had a terrific performance. And just because they came up short on the scoreboard doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve a spot on this breakdown. Lai would catch 13 passes for just shy of 200 receiving yards and both of Cascia Hall's touchdowns. Lai was without a doubt the leading receiver on Friday night and what's scary for the rest of Class 3A is that this is the third straight week that Cascia Hall has had a different leading receiver. Lai had a breakout freshman season and he's already building on that this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='917666' first='Jackson' last='Payne'] - Senior Quarterback - Bethany

Bethany went on the road and got an impressive 36-29 win over Jones Friday night. The Longhorns had been playing stingy defense in the first few weeks but senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='917666' first='Jackson' last='Payne'] and the rest of the Bethany offense racked up the yardage and lit up the scoreboard. Payne would finish with over 300 yards of total offense and four touchdowns on the night. But no touchdown was more important than his game-winning touchdown pass with less than a minute to play. Jones had just tied the game up less than a minute prior and it looked like this game was going to overtime. Payne put on the cape and made some very clutch plays down the stretch.

Jaeden Williams - Senior Running Back - Moore

Moore is 2-0 on the early season and they are city champs after beating Westmoore in week zero and beating Southmoore on Friday night. Senior running back Jaeden Williams was the guy that could not be stopped on Friday night in their 45-13 victory over the Sabercats. Williams finished the night with over 150 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He also added a pair of catches for 29 yards as he got close to the 200 yard mark in total offense. Now, Williams and the Lions will shift their focus to a week three match-up against a very hungry Norman North team, who will be looking to avoid an 0-3 start while Moore looks to start 3-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='1332266' first='Jahhim' last='Mahmoud'] - Senior Running Back - Midwest City

After back to back shutout losses, Midwest City finally got on the scoreboard and got in the win column with a win over Putnam City West. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1332266' first='Jahhim' last='Mahmoud'] would finish as the star of the night. He would finish with 130 total yards of offense with three rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown in the win. Despite the losses earlier in the season, Mahmoud has still had a solid start to his senior season. Because of Midwest City having a first year starter at quarterback this season, having an experienced playmaker in the backfield like Mahmoud is definitely a bonus. The Bombers take this week off before district play opens in week four.

Jeremiah Ssettimba - Junior Quarterback - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow came up short as they would go for two and the win in overtime, on the road against Mustang Friday night. Regardless of the win or loss, the Tigers absolutely rolled on the offensive side of the ball, putting up a season-high 48 points in the loss. Junior quarterback Jeremiah Ssettimba had the Tigers marching up and down the field all night and had his best game of the young season. Ssettimba would throw for just over 400 yards and five touchdowns on 25-39 passing. He also had a solid showing in week zero against Springdale Har-Ber. For a first time starter, Ssettimba isn't shying away from the opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] - Senior Quarterback/Linebacker - Wagoner

Wagoner senior [player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] was a one-man wrecking crew as the Bulldogs would beat Tahlequah 51-7. Charboneau could not be contained on either side of the ball. Offensively, Charboneau would finish the night with over 250 passing yards and three touchdowns on 12-15 passing. He also added nearly 50 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground. That wasn't enough for Charboneau and the Bulldogs as he would also finish the night with six tackles and two sacks in the win. Charboneau put up video game numbers on Friday night and the Bulldogs were absolutely dominant in week two. They're off to a 2-0 start and are once again a team to beat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1524930' first='Kellen' last='Smith'] - Sophomore Quarterback - Cashion

It was difficult to not just pick the entire Cashion defense as they absolutely dominated Ringling in an 18-6 victory. But we're putting the spotlight on another sophomore as quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1524930' first='Kellen' last='Smith'] had a stellar showing on Friday night. Smith would finish the night with just shy of 100 yards and two touchdowns on 7-13 passing. But he took his game to new heights in the running game. He would finish with over 200 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. The defense was dominant but Smith definitely had a really good performance. He's played pretty well in the first few weeks of the season and he makes Cashion a fun team to watch in Class A-1.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] - Junior Quarterback - Metro Christian

We mentioned this in our week two round up but Metro Christian junior quarterback had a statement performance in their 21-14 win over Cascia Hall on Friday night. First off, it's a weird game that features nearly 600 combined passing yards but the final score was 21-14. Eng would finish the night with 299 yards and one touchdown on 25-36 passing. Eng would also add some very big runs throughout the night that kept drives alive. Eng was a player that we were intrigued by coming into this season but he's definitely exceeded any preseason expectations. A win over Cascia Hall is a solid win for a Metro team that has high expectations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292096' first='Kylan' last='Schultheis'] - Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Lincoln Christian

3A defending champion and top-ranked Lincoln Christian is 3-0 on the season and the Bulldogs have had three different players on this weekly breakdown following their wins. This week, it's senior wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1292096' first='Kylan' last='Schultheis'] that gets the nod following their 38-14 win over Arkansas powerhouse Shiloh Christian. Schultheis set the tone early on with a 100-yard interception return for a score. He would also have nearly 100 receiving yards and a touchdown on the offensive side of the ball. His pick six was the first of two from the Bulldogs on Friday night as the defending champs look fantastic early on in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='894347' first='Mason' last='Smith'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Deer Creek

Deer Creek dominated Norman North 35-10 and their three-headed monster on offense was borderline impossible to stop. Deer Creek feels like one of those programs that we could make an argument for two or three different guys to be on this breakdown every week. This week, we're putting the spotlight on senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='894347' first='Mason' last='Smith'] after he would finish the night with nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions. Smith has gotten off to a fantastic start to the 2024 season and the Army commit shows no signs of slowing down. And it definitely helps that he has a fellow D1 commit throwing him the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='515901' first='PJ' last='Wallace'] - Senior Running Back - Muskogee

For the second straight week, Muskogee needed some late game heroics to knock off a team from northwest Arkansas. Last week it was Rogers, this week it was a 49-48 win over Bentonville West. Despite the close call, there was no doubt that senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='515901' first='PJ' last='Wallace'] was one of the best players on the field Friday night. He finished with nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. Wallace came into this season as one of the state's best running backs after a very successful run at Bartlesville. So far through three games, he has fit in quite nicely in the Muskogee backfield as they have started the year at 3-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330266' first='Reid' last='Patterson'] - Junior Quarterback - Kingston

Kingston lost to Fairview in the final minute last week but they bounced back with a 42-6 victory over Comanche in week two. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1330266' first='Reid' last='Patterson'] was the player to watch in that game and he had a performance that was borderline perfect. He finished the night with nearly 250 passing yards and four touchdowns on just 7-8 passing. Half of his pass attempts went for touchdowns and he averaged an eye-popping 35 yards per completion. He also added a rushing touchdown. Kingston is 2-1 on the young season and they are definitely a team in a very top-heavy Class 2A-1 that you can't forget about moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] - Junior Running Back - Collinsville

Collinsville junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] is another player that finds himself as a top performer for the second week in a row. Collinsville has come out swinging this season and they had no problems rolling to a 2-0 start with a 56-6 victory over Edison. Rigby was dominant on the offensive side of the ball. He would finish the night with well over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Last week, he had an solid overall performance in all three phases but this week, we're putting the spotlight on his work on offense. Collinsville is definitely a team to look out for in Class 5A and the Cardinals have climbed all the way to number two in the class.

Stephen Manhard - Junior Running Back/Linebacker - Durant

Another player who's team came up short but he still had a good showing was junior running back and linebacker Stephen Manhard out of Durant. The Lions would fall 34-20 to Gravette and they are getting hungrier for a win to start off this season. Despite the loss, Manhard had a solid showing on both sides of the ball. He would finish the night with just shy of 200 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown on ten carries. He also plays defense for the Lions and would finish the night with eight tackles and a fumble recovery. The team came up short but Manhard definitely caught our attention with his performance on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] - Senior Quarterback - Mustang

For the second straight week, Mustang senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] finds himself on this weekly breakdown. Last week, he was nearly perfect in a blowout win over rival Yukon. This week, he wasn't perfect but he was incredibly clutch as the Broncos beat Broken Arrow in an overtime thriller. Williamson finished the night with 250 passing yards and a touchdown as well as nearly 100 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. At the end of regulation, Mustang needed to score to send it into overtime and Williamson made some big throws, specifically on fourth down, to keep the drive alive and allowed Mustang to play for OT.

[player_tooltip player_id='806158' first='Trey' last='Bennett'] - Senior Quarterback/Defensive Back - Woodland

Class A-2's top-ranked Woodland is 2-0 to start the season and they have been rolling to start the year. On Friday night, they beat Morrison 51-20 and senior quarterback and safety [player_tooltip player_id='806158' first='Trey' last='Bennett'] played a near-perfect game. Offensively, Bennett would throw for just over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 13-14 passing. He also added a rushing touchdown and five tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Woodland came into this season as the top-ranked team in the new Class A-2 and nothing has happened to change that opinion through the first few weeks. Having a player like Bennett that's so experienced and talented is a big reason why.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451368' first='Tucker' last='Koch'] - Junior Linebacker - Union

We wrote about Union junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1451368' first='Tucker' last='Koch'] earlier this weekend after the Redhawks won a very close rivalry clash with Jenks on Friday night. Koch was one of the team's leading tacklers in the win over Jenks. He finished the night with nine tackles and two sacks. And from the opening quarter, it was very apparent that Koch was going to be the guy on this Union defense that brought the energy. He kept that same energy for all four quarters and that was a big reason why Union held a very talented Jenks offense out of the end zone. Koch backed up a terrific game against Stillwater in week one with a clutch game in week two.
