Stilwell’s Brayton Carter Brayton Carter ATH Stilwell | 2027 State OK is one of the more athletic playmakers in eastern Oklahoma, along the Arkansas border. It doesn’t matter where Carter lines up on the field, he’s going to have a chance to make something special happen. He’s the prototypical definition of an “athlete” on the football field. There aren’t many players that Stilwell will play that can run faster or jump higher than Carter. They have the benefit of putting him almost anywhere on the field and know that he’s going to produce at a very high level. You throw on his tape or look at the production from last season and you see one of the better athletes in the state and certainly one of the best players in Class 4A. Carter is a big reason why we like Stilwell to have a big turnaround season in 2026.

Carter has been an impact player for Stilwell for years and he’s back for one more year. Last season, he totaled nearly 1,400 yards and accounted for 12 total touchdowns. Carter did whatever the Indians needed him to do and time after time, he was able to produce in a major way. Defensively, he also added nearly 90 tackles and finished the year with four interceptions. Carter’s recruitment has also taken off this offseason and shouldn’t slow down this fall.

Stilwell standout Brayton Carter Brayton Carter ATH Stilwell | 2027 State OK emerged as a very talented and productive player last season and he’s taken his game up another level this season. Stilwell has struggled in the win-loss column but they have been lighting up the scoreboard throughout the season and giving everyone their best shot week after week. Carter is the biggest reason why with what he’s able to do on offense and in special teams as a returner. We were impressed with Carter’s game last season but he’s backed up the hype and is becoming a name way out in eastern Oklahoma that shouldn’t be overlooked. We’re excited to see the full body of work from Carter with his junior film following this season.
