This will be a two-part series highlighting some of the standout performers we saw on April 11th at the PRZ Oklahoma Open - Let's dive in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2156747' first='David' last='Wilks'] - WR/DB 2030 - Southwest 7 Stick Em - MO

I really liked watching Wilks compete on the defensive side of the ball at Nickel. He was technical in his game with his back pedal and was aggressive on the point of contact. He uses his hands well and has good eye discipline. David has good footwork and shows he has quick transitions from his pedal to break to his drive. He understands passing concepts and does a good job passing his man to the next zone. David competed every rep and challenged bigger receivers that lined up at slot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1833399' first='Levi' last='McGuire'] - WR/DB 2028 - Gameday Elite - OK

Levi is another player for Gameday Elite that made an impact as a standout who is in the class of 2028 and plays wide receiver and defensive back. On the defensive side of the ball, he shows good eye discipline and plays good technique. He has good hips and breaks on the ball well. Levi made several pass break ups because he was in the right place. On offense, he creates separation from his defender to haul in the catches and shows good ball skills. He does good with tracking the ball over the shoulder and uses his hands to finish the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264886' first='Boston' last='Hamilton'] - QB 2029 - Sooner 7 - OK

I have been able to watch this signal caller since he was in grade school to where he is at now in the class of 2029. Boston is a competitor who is a poised quarterback and in control of the offense for Sooner 7. He has several athletes that he is able to distribute the ball to and he doesn't lock in on one receiver. Boston does a good job of hitting his check down and has good ball placement to where only his wide receivers can get to it. He led his team on numerous scoring drives and a game winning drive on the day.

Brody Haymond - WR/Safety 2029 - GC7 - AR

Brody is another player with GC7, who ended up winning the 15U championship, who is a standout player who plays wide receiver and safety. Brody has good hands and shows a clean release off the line of scrimmage vs man press. He has an understanding of spacing and timing on his routes to help his quarterback get him the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, he shows an understanding of passing concepts and not chasing routes. He does well on driving on the ball and had some good pass break ups throughout the day. Brody showed he is a playmaker for team GC7.

[player_tooltip player_id='2153100' first='Bradyn' last='Nguyen'] - WR/S 2028 - Southwest 7 Stick Em - MO

Another Southwest Stick Em standout who caught our eye was Bradyn in the class of 2028 who played wide receiver and safety. Bradyn made play after play on both sides of the ball in the last few games and he helped his team get to the championship game. Back at safety, he can cover a lot of ground and moves well. He breaks on the ball well and can play over the top and high points the ball. On offense, he catches the ball well with his hands and accelerates out of his breaks. When the time came to it, Bradyn is a competitor and showed he can compete at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1651151' first='Jamane' last='Stubblefield'] - WR/RB 2028 - C4 - OK

Stubblefield is another highly touted standout for Sean Cooper and his C4 Performance team. He showed that he is a playmaker who can run several different routes from short to intermediate and a deep threat. He made one of the better highlights on the day where he went over the defender and caught the ball in the endzone for a score. Stubblefield plays running back for his school team but shows off his abilities to play wide receiver for his C4 seven on seven team.
