The best player on the field, Stubblefield was electric on offense and ferocious on defense. His two touchdown runs were both long runs that saw him shaking off defenders near the line of scrimmage. Then turning on the JETS to out race the rest of the defense. On defense, he’s an edge setter, who also can chase down plays across the field. Complete with the instinct to go for punch outs when tackling from behind. Big time player, who should continue to establish himself as one of the best in Oklahoma.

at a 7v7 tournament this spring and we instantly became fans of his game. Stubblefield is one of those players that is going to instantly pass the eye test when you see him in person. And that’s before the ball is snapped. Then you watch him go to work with a rare blend of size, strength, athleticism and overall burst. Stubblefield has the makings of becoming a breakout star for the Tigers this season. All signs point towards him doing just that. If Ardmore takes that next step and contends for a state championship, don’t be surprised if Stubblefield turns into a star in the process.

made the biggest jump in the recent ranking update. He went up 41 spots to #37 overall and is now the #5 running back in the 2028 class. Stubblefield had a really strong sophomore season with the Tigers and we were impressed with his production. But we got to watch him in person back in the spring at our second 7v7 tournament and that vaulted his stock after seeing the physical frame and playmaking ability to go along with what we saw from him as a traditional running back. Ardmore brings a lot back and Stubblefield is one of many pieces that will make the Tigers a fun team to watch this season.
