When you’re talking about how deep this quarterback class is, it’s easy to throw out the word “underrated” because there’s simply way more quarterbacks than usual. Woodland quarterback

might be the most underrated quarterback in this group. We’ve liked Bennett as an overall athlete for a while but he moved to quarterback last season and never looked back. We’ve had him at our camp, watched plenty of film of him and got to see him work in person in arguably their toughest regular season games this fall. And every time we see him, we see a standout athlete with a strong arm and the ability to completely take a game over.

has been one of Woodland’s top athletes for a few years now. Last season, Bennett made the transition to quarterback and he made it look pretty flawless. He finished his junior season throwing for just over 2,000 yards and 27 touchdowns. He was also a threat to run the ball, although he only did it when he needed to and finished with ten rushing touchdowns. He also still started for the Cougars at safety on defense and was productive there. More times than not, Bennett is going to be the best athlete on the field for either team this season. He’s going to have the potential to put up some monster numbers and he’s a 2025 prospect that’s flying under the radar.

is a small town product that continues to impress us every time we see him in person. And we’ve seen him in person a handful of times over the last 18 months. From his performances at our camps to seeing him on Friday nights, Bennett usually finds his way as one of the standouts on our breakdowns. Saturday was no different and Bennett was putting the ball on a line throughout the afternoon. And just like some of the other quarterbacks that we’ve already written about, Bennett is much more than a pocket passer. He’s a terrific athlete and we’re expecting to see his all around production explode when this fall rolls around.
