The Prep Redzone Next New England Class of 2028 Top 100 Football Prospect Watchlist is LIVE– listed below in ALPHABETICAL ORDER, by PROJECTED position.

Any time anyone puts together a list of top 8th grade prospects getting ready to enter the high school ranks, there's bound to be some impressive hits and some head-scratching misses. Below is the New England Class of 2028 Top 100 Football Prospect Watchlist and a writeup on each prospect. A handful of the prospects below already have verbal scholarship offers extended to them; Many of them will receive a scholarship offer at some point over the next four years; Yet, some will never play football after high school. However, as of July 15th, 2024, these prospects appear to be destined for big things on the high school football scene in New England. Let's take a look.

Quarterback

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1111494' first='Brad' last='Perry'] | St. John's Shrewsbury - The starting quarterback for the 13U Central Mass Chaos All-Star team this past season. One of the best leaders and Quarterbacks I saw in New England this past season. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-10 and 160-pounds. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='400828' first='Christopher' last='Vargas'] | St. John's Prep - As of July 2024, he's the best 2028 Quarterback in New England, period. Already stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 175-pounds with a huge arm and track speed. Currently holds verbal offers from Syracuse, Penn State, U-Mass and Rhode Island ahead of his freshman season. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329738' first='Connor' last='Larnard'] | Boston College High School - Tall Southpaw Quarterback who stands up big in the pocket. Throws with a smooth overhand release and gets more mustard on the ball than you'd imagine based off this thinner frame. Also a prolific basketball player. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329739' first='Eamon' last='Kane'] | Belmont Hill - As of July 2024, checks the box in terms of size, listed at 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds. A Duxbury native, he also brings some toughness to the position, as he also plays lacrosse. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='943063' first='Jayden' last='Campbell'] | Lawrence Academy - Taking a reclass year and becoming part of the 2028 class will be a common theme in this write up and Campbell is an example of how it can benefit athletes. Great frame for a prospect at this stage and as of July 2024, is listed at 5-foot-11 and 160-pounds. A lot of torque in his lower half and on tape he consistently delivers accurate passes. He's from Massachusetts.

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1069611' first='John' last='Stadler'] | Andover High School - After spending this past year at Cardigan Mountain School in New Hampshire, Stadler returns to Massachusetts and will be at Andover High School. As of July 2024, lists himself at 6-foot-2 and 170-pounds, which is an increase of two inches and 20 pounds from last year. Has a really crisp release and can spin it. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1114185' first='Jonathan' last='Leroux'] | Cranston High School West - Another Southpaw Quarterback on the list, but the only Rhode Island QB to make the Top 100. This past season, he was QB1 of the CLCF Chiefs team that had a nice run at AYF Nationals. Brings dual-threat ability and is a slippery runner when he keeps it himself. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='425609' first='Rory' last='Funke'] | Dexter Southfield - In my opinion, he's right behind Vargas in terms of Quarterback ability in this New England 2028 class. He's extremely well put together and carries himself with maturity of a young man significantly older. As of July 2024, is listed at 6-foot-2 and 175-pounds. The lefty is also one of the most elite baseball players in the country too. Oldest brother Jack Funke is currently an O-Lineman at Boston College and middle brother [player_tooltip player_id='404646' first='Dominic' last='Funke'] is currently ranked our No.1 DL in 2026 for New England. He is from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329766' first='Sam' last='Gibney'] | Exeter High School - Could be a case of big fish in small pond, could be a case of Gibney really is that talented. As of July 2024, is listed at 6-foot and 165-pounds. Very well put together and is an exciting player to watch. Dual-threat QB with nice touch when he throws, but is more opt to beat defenses with his legs. Fast and agile. Also a standout Midfielder in lacrosse. He's from New Hampshire.

[player_tooltip player_id='1331012' first='Ryan' last='Mutryn'] | St. Sebastian's - A bigger, thicker Quarterback that is listed as 6-foot-1 and 180-pounds as of July 2024. Stands tall in the pocket and delivers a nice ball with a smooth release. Athletic kid that can also take off and use his legs to pick up the necessary yardage--a very balanced QB. Also is highly regarded as a lacrosse prospect. Comes from incredibly strong blood lines, as his dad Scott played QB at Boston College and older brothers Casey and Teddy are two of the top hockey prospects in the country. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329772' first='Theo' last='Ryan'] | Choate Rosemary Hall - With his ability to run and overall athleticism, he very well could be included on this list as an Athlete. The only Connecticut Quarterback listed on the list, he has ripped up competition locally over the last two yers as a member of the Westport Wreckers youth team. Also plays lacrosse and basketball. Depending on offensive scheme, could be a big problem as a dual-threat QB. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1001665' first='Zachary' last='McKenzie'] | Suffield Academy - Perhaps nobody benefitted from a reclass year more than McKenzie, who has taken giant strides over the last year. Played this past season for the Eaglebrook School and then went on to win a NEYT 15U championship this past spring. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 170-pounds. He'll be attending high school in Connecticut, but is from Massachusetts.

Running Back

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1266120' first='Aiden' last='O'Brien'] | Scituate High School - Explosive Running Back and also fleet of foot. His film is riddled with examples of showing off his agility--whether it be running laterally, jump-cutting or putting his foot in the ground and redirecting his lane. Does a nice job of using patience and setting up his blocks, before accelerating upfield. Breakaway speed makes him especially dangerous on the second and third levels. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117019' first='Andre' last='Perkins'] | Doherty Memorial - One of the bigger RBs on the list and as of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-10 and 175-pounds. He's a muscled up prospect that seems to have put on some good muscle mass since I last saw him in person this past December. Look for him to also play some Linebacker and special teams. He's from Massachusetts.

Anthony Capalino | Malden Catholic - The type of Running Back that drives defenses crazy because he's fast, strong, physical and long. As a member of Everett Crimson Tide Pop Warner he ran it up between the tackles and could carry ball to the outside and beat guys in space. Versatile kid that doesn't have to come off the field in any situation and has the ball skills to line up as a WR in empty. This past spring, played Varsity baseball for MC. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329815' first='Chad' last='James'] | Fairfield College Prep - As of July 2024, he's listed at just 5-foot-7 and 150-pound, but pound-for-pound, he has to be in the conversation for top 2028 RB in all of New England. Exceptional feet and quickness, literally danced circles around defenses as a member of the Bridgeport Cowboys this past season. Elite speed and can deliver a shoulder with unassuming power if a defender comes too high. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276735' first='Colt' last='Inman'] | Brunswick School - One of the best pure athletes in not only New England, but the entire country, when it comes to 2028 prospects. Spent his youth career playing Quarterback and will be making the transition to Running Back full time going forward. Insane production no matter how you slice it. Was clocked at a 4.5 at the Prep Redzone Next Middle School camp in May. The grandson of Don McCauley, who has held the UNC Tarheel single-season rushing record since 1970. He's from Connecticut.

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='541812' first='Owen' last='DeSalvo'] | Buckingham Browne & Nichols - Have had him listed as an Athlete for over a year because he's also a very good Defensive Back, but made the switch and have him listed as a Running Back. One of a few prospects with varsity experience as a middle school prospect, DeSalvo already holds an offer from U-Mass. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-11 and 185-pounds. He's muscled up and has good speed on top of it. Don't sleep on him making catches of the backfield, either. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329826' first='Ryan' last='Bonzagni'] | Norwell High School - Bonzagni makes this list because of the power he brings to the RB position, after displaying it throughout this youth career here. Throughout his film there's countless of plays of him breaking tackles and rolling like a bowling ball down hill over would-be tacklers. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-9 and 165-pounds. Could ultimately end up being a Linebacker if speed doesn't increase as a RB. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270387' first='Ryan' last='Santo'] | Bishop Hendricken - The first of two Ocean State Running Backs to be included in this list, Santo is an athletic specimen for only entering his freshman year. Spends a lot of time in the weight room, already benching 225-pounds and squatting 335-pounds at 6-foot and 165-pounds as of July 2024. Violent runner who looks like he embraces contact, rather than shying away from it. Was part of an exceptional North Kingstown Jaguars team this past season. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329865' first='Syer' last='Copeland'] | The Fay School - A bowling ball type of Running Back with more speed than one would imagine. Built like a tank--low to the ground and thick. Defensively, he plays Defensive Tackle and/or D-End, in addition to Middle Linebacker. As a back, he's a north and south runner that puts his foot in the ground and goes. As of July 2024, he's 5-foot-7 and 185-pounds, meaning his height and frame are something to keep an eye on. He's from Massachusetts.

Wilson Cherenfant | La Salle Academy - The second Ocean State RB on the list, Cherenfant is another massive Running Back that is listed at 6-foot and 180-pounds as of July 2024--but very well could be bigger. Literally ran over anyone from New England that happened to get in his way during an eighth-grade Pop Warner season that saw the Mt. Hope Cowboys make it down to Florida for nationals. He's another back that may grow out of the position, as he also plays Defensive End. He's from Rhode Island.

Wide Receiver

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1269639' first='Aiden' last='Fortes'] | La Salle Academy - One of three Rhode Island WRs on this list, all of which will be Rams in the fall, he's a slippery slot Receiver. As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-8 and 145-pounds with substantial shake and wiggle at the top of his routes. From what I've seen he has some of the best hands in all of New England for the class of 2028, as well. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117021' first='Anthony' last='Garcia'] | Central Catholic - A very complete and well-balanced Wide Receiver that is going to keep the chains moving by owning the middle of the field. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot and 175-pounds with a good amount of mass/thickness on his bones already. One of several prospects to make the Top 100 list off the 13U Central Mass Chaos All-Star team from this past season. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329914' first='Charles' last='Stevens'] | Fairfield College Prep - While his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1329815' first='Chad' last='James'] (listed above) held it down at Running Back, Stevens was an immediate eye test-passer as a Wide Receiver this past season for the Bridgeport Cowboys. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 160-pounds and looks to be every inch of that reported size. Not just a jump ball-winner, he has good speed and body control on top of it. His film draws an immediate comparison to former Super Bowl Champion, Plaxico Burress. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='545931' first='David' last='Dale Jr.'] | La Salle Academy - A prospect who took a reclass year and upped his stock as member of the 2028 class. Originally caught my eye in the fall of 2022 and has continued to steadily improve since then. Has put on noticeable muscle mass and is starting to get that "man body". Was laser-timed at a 4.8 in the forty this past spring. Multi-sport athlete that also runs track and plays basketball. He's from Rhode Island.

Dylan Mcgonagle | St. John's Shrewsbury - Part of a boat load of talent coming in with this 2028 class, Mcgonagle brings size and toughness as a pass catcher--listed at 6-foot-1 and 175-pounds as of July 2024. Like several other prospects on this list, depending on how he continues to grow, I could see him becoming a Tight End at some point over the next four years. Also plays Linebacker on the defensive side of the ball. He's from Massachusetts.

Iyad Fraifer | Franklin High School - As of July 2024, Fraifer has a build that resembles a deer and he runs like one too. At 5-foot-11 and 150-pounds, he has a long torso and arms with a more compact lower body. Earlier this summer he was named the Co-Wide Receiver MVP at the Mass Elite Football Camp. His upper body length allows for him to have a pretty substantial catch radius. Has some explosiveness and the ability to jump, too. He's from Massachusetts.

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1329977' first='Jaxson' last='Hinson'] | Worcester Academy - As of July 2024 he lists himself at 5-foot-9 and 150-pounds. Hinson brings as much playing experience as physically possible for an incoming freshman, having played fall seasons, winter all-star games and and in the spring. Throughout his pre-high school career he's done a nice job of stretching the field vertically, in addition to using his quickness to get a step on CBs and winning on slants/quicker routes. He's from Massachuetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1269644' first='Jayden' last='Fortes'] | La Salle Aacademy - Like his twin brother [player_tooltip player_id='1269639' first='Aiden' last='Fortes'], and future high school teammate [player_tooltip player_id='545931' first='David' last='Dale Jr.'], Fortes is another talented Ocean State prospect to know in this 2028 class. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-7 and 125-pounds--which is the smallest Wide Receiver on this list. He'll have to continue to grow and develop physically to reach his potential, but he's a slippery cat that routinely gets open. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1521094' first='Josh' last='Berglund'] | Dexter Southfield - With a year of varsity experience an eighth-grader already under his belt, look for Berglund to quickly establish himself one of the top 2028 prospects in all of New England. As of July 2024, he's listed right around 6-foot and 180-pounds (we have him at 5-foot-11 and 175-pounds) and has good functional strength with that size. He also claims a 4.6 forty at this point and on film he can certainly scoot. He's also a talented lacrosse player. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330002' first='Matt' last='Keating'] | Ludlowe High School - Keating had a monster 2023 fall season for the Fairfield Giants youth program, reporting a stat line of 1,340 yards of total offense (46 receptions for 914 and 38 attempts for 426 rushing) and 16 total touchdowns (10 rec. and 6 rushing). Claims to be clocked at a 4.9 in the forty, but looks as if he can absolutely fly on film--the type of speed that requires the defense to take perfect tackling angles to even have a shot. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-10 and 155-pounds. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='889581' first='Riley' last='Selvais'] | St. John's Prep - Looks like he was absolutely carved out of a stone with the physique he has put together. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds of pure muscle. Equally as fast, as he is quick--both are near the top of any 2028 prospect in New England. Elite feet at this point. Strong enough to fight off press coverage at the line if a DB wants to test him. Has an overall game that is mature beyond his years in every way possible. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1308892' first='Trae' last='Ford'] | Loomis Chaffee - Between looking at his physical stature/build and observing what he does on film, I see a crazy resemblance to another Nutmeg State-native turned NJ prospect, Colt Lumpris and how he looked at this stage. As of July 2024, Ford is listed at a slender 6-foot-2 and 150-pounds and also claims a 4.8 in the forty. Like Lumpris did/is doing, Ford will need to work hard to pack on good muscle mass over the next couple years. Don't rule out him becoming a Free Safety by the time all is said and done either. He's from Connecticut.

Tight End

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1330953' first='Jack' last='Olsen'] | Weston High School - Impressive looking Tight End that is listed at 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds as of July 2024. As an incoming freshman, he's exactly what you want at the Tight End position in terms of size and skill set. Was one of the key playmakers on the Westport Wreckers youth team this year. Routinely beat DBs and LBs up the seem with athleticism and then could turn around on the next play and deliver a pancake on a block. Also a talented basketball player. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251466' first='Jack' last='Barry'] | Xaverian Brothers - As of July 2024 he listed at 6-foot-4 and 185-pounds, which is elite size for a Tight End getting ready to start his high school career. Ofter times when route runners are this tall and long this early they move a bit clunky, but Barry does not. Runs with more fluidity than the majority of your typical high school Wide Receivers. He's not afraid to get physical at the top of his route and his long arms create a nice window for any QB to throw to. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1308893' first='Teddy' last='Seifel'] | Loomis Chafee - Every time I watch his film I find myself going back and forth on whether or not to list him as a Tight End or as a Wide Receiver. As of July 2024 he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 170-pounds and also plays some Linebacker. The word hybrid comes to mind when describing him, because he can split out wide like a WR too. Also a basketball player and understands how to be physical when it's needed. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1001464' first='Vincenzo' last='Graziani'] | St. John's Prep - Rounding out the Tight Ends on the list and also completing the three-headed offensive monster headed to St. John's Prep, Graziani is a Tight End prospect to know immediately. As of July 2024 he's listed at 6-foot-4 and 190-pounds and moves more like a Wide Receiver than any of the other TE's above. Super athletic kid that helped Masconomet win a championship this past year. He's from Massachusetts.

Offensive Line

***listed alphabetically***

[player_tooltip player_id='1278819' first='Carter' last='Hyatt'] | Avon Old Farms - An interior Offensive Lineman, likely a Guard, that was the leader up front this past season for the Farmington Valley Mudhogs and their Super Bowl championship. As of July 2024, is listed at 5-foot-11 and 250-pounds. Fires off the ball very quickly and typically finds success if he stays low and maintains leverage. Blocks unrelentingly through the whistle. Can also play Defensive Tackle. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='943068' first='Cayden' last='Blanchette'] | Lawrence Academy - An absolutely massive prospect in every sense of the word, standing 6-foot-4 and 320-pounds as of July 2024. After spending last season at St. John's Prep, Blanchette has transferred to Lawrence Academy and reclassed to 2028. Powerful and versatile enough to play Tackle or Guard at this point, but given his mass staying on the interior might be the move for Blanchette. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1313726' first='Evan' last='Cameron'] | Shepherd Hill - As of July 2024 Evan is the bigger of the Cameron twins on this list, listed at 6-foot-4 and 275-pounds. He's a project at this point but his size and frame are the foundation give him a high ceiling. Played Offensive Left Tackle this season in addition to Defensive Tackle. Has a tendency to play too high at times. There's also considerable room for improvement in his foot work and should play much stronger than he does, given his size. Again, he's a project, but with hard work alongside natural maturation there's a lot of potential here. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='867423' first='Jack' last='Conway'] | Belmont Hill - Conway is everything you could want in an incoming freshman Center. As of July 2024, he is listed at 5-foot-11 and 245-pounds. He's a powerhouse kid that doesn't miss time in the weight room, already squatting over 400-pounds and benching over 250-poundsw with ease. Pound for pound is one of the best 2028 OL in all of New England. This past season at The Fessenden School he was also named the MVP of the Wrestling team. He's from Massachuetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050151' first='Jacob' last='Reed'] | Lawrence Academy - Reed was a late addition to the incoming class at Lawrence Academy, not announcing it until the last week in June. As of July 2024, Reed is listed at 6-foot-2 and 250-pounds. Extremely athletic as far as 2028 linemen come. Not a waist-bender or leaner. Brings his feet with him at and through the point of contact. Versatile O-Linemen that can and has played both Guard and Tackle. Devastating down blocker on the inside and agile enough to block speed rushers without help. He'll attend school in Massachusetts, but he's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1000564' first='Joel' last='Budd'] | Somers High School - The biggest 2028 prospect in all of New England, as of July 2024 he stands 6-foot-8 and 295-pounds. To better frame his size, the average NFL O-Tackle is 6-foot-5. Has been working hard to improve his feet against speed rushers and it's paying off. When he's able to get his hands on a defensive player, he typically wins the rep. Also plays basketball and lacrosse. Earned his first offer from Syracuse, earlier this summer. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330112' first='Lucian' last='Nevil'] | Xaverian Brothers - As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-1 and 280-pounds. Big, powerful prospect who has played Offensive Tackle during his pre-high school years. Plays with a very strong base and is one of the better run blockers on this top 100 list. Fires off the ball hard with a good low shoulder level, before getting into the defender and rolling his hips up and driving them back. Can get in a little trouble with hand placement at times when pass blocking. He's from Massachusetts.

Mason Cameron | Shepherd Hill - Like his twin brother Evan (listed above), Mason Cameron is also a bit of a project as he gets set to enter high school. With that said, he also has the size and potential to become something special and as of July 2024 is listed at 6-foot-5 and 250-pounds. Has primarily played Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle during his youth career. Was asked to pull a decent amount this past year and was able to do so, but it wasn't very fluid at times. Has to improve overall athleticism, agility and functional strength. It's going to to take work, but both Cameron brothers appear to be a blank canvas just waiting to be turned into a masterpiece. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330121' first='Nick' last='Yebba'] | Masconomet Regional High School - As of July 2024 he's listed at 6-foot-3 and 260-pounds and has played both Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle on the pre-high school level. This past season was the biggest kid up front on a championship-winning Masconomet youth team. Has a great frame to work with and moves pretty well for his size and stature. Also plays baseball. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1313620' first='Quinn' last='Maguire'] | Marblehead High School - In my opinion, he's the top 2028 New England Offensive Lineman that nobody is talking about yet as of July 2024. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 220-pounds, Maguire plays the position with an attitude and a mean streak that any football purist can love. Played Offensive Tackle this year in addition to Defensive Tackle and Defensive End on the opposite of the ball. Overwhelms with sheer strength on the line of scrimmage and is athletic enough to get up to defenders on the second level and punishes them. I'm high on this kid and think he has a shot to be one of the best in this class if he gets big enough. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='889367' first='Tommy' last='Mahoney'] | Dexter Southfield - While [player_tooltip player_id='1313620' first='Quinn' last='Maguire'] is my top 2028 New England O-Linemen that nobody is talking about, there's no question in my mind that [player_tooltip player_id='889367' first='Tommy' last='Mahoney'] is the top 2028 Offensive Lineman that is already being talked about in recruiting circles. Already has a year of varsity experience under his belt after playing this year as an eighth-grader. As of July 2024 is listed at 6-foot-4 and 280-pounds. Size is an obvious strength, but he moves exceptionally well for his size. Plays with T-Rex arms and gets inside control while keeping a firm, strong base. He also dominated on the D-Line too, but I love him on the O-Line. Offer now. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='517419' first='Travis' last='Bowen'] | St. John's Shrewsbury - Bowen is a prospect that I've watched develop closely since he was in the sixth-grade and it's been a steady climb year in and year out. As of July 2024, is now listed at 6-foot-1 and 260-pounds. Generates a lot of power from his strong base. Was part of the 13U Central Mass Chaos All-Star team this past year. He's a solid interior O-Lineman that can also play D-Tackle, but he's a natural at the Guard position. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270283' first='Zachary' last='Taylor'] | Moses Brown - The biggest prospect I've seen come out of Ocean State on the pre-high school level in recent memory, as of July 2024 Taylor stands 6-foot-4 and 250-pounds. This list contains several athletes from the Mt. Hope Cowboys that made a nice run at a Pop Warner Natty this past season, but without the blocking of the bigs like Taylor none of that would be possible. Size is an obvious plus and has traveled representing the region playing against some other top tier teams. Also plays basketball. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270456' first='Alyn' last='Husereau'] | Westerly High School - Not the biggest, fastest or most athletic at this point but Huserau gets it done on both sides of the ball. As of July 2024, is listed at 5-foot-8 and 145-pounds. Excellent control of his body in midair and has an apparent sixth sense of knowing where the sideline is at all times, either getting toe in or using it as another defender. Plays both Wide Receiver and Defensive Back. The son of a HS coach and the younger brother of 2027 QB [player_tooltip player_id='990016' first='Landon' last='Husereau'] who earned All-State honors as a Freshman last season. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270361' first='Angelo' last='Gomez'] | La Salle Academy - Earlier this spring made our Rhode Island-specific list as a Wide Receiver, but have switched him over to an Athlete designation. As of July 2024 he's listed at a 5-foot-11 and 155-pounds--but I'm doubtful on that being his actual size. Throughout spring/early summer tournaments has gotten a lot of touches as a Running Back and has looked quick and dynamic in space. He's part of a really impressive group headed to Ram country this fall. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330929' first='Braxton' last='Day'] | Dexter Southfield - I'm a firm believer that genetics and environment are the two biggest uncontrollable factors in projecting eighth-grade athletes and [player_tooltip player_id='1330929' first='Braxton' last='Day'] checks both boxes. A super athletic Wide Receiver/Outside Linebacker with the ability to play in the secondary as well, Day is listed at 5-foot-11 and 175-pounds as of July 2024. He's the son of Dexter Southfield HC Casey Day and younger brother of incoming Bucknell Bison freshman Darius Day. Already looks to have an inch on his brother and has a high ceiling athletically. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251345' first='Breydon' last='Evans'] | Choate Rosemary Hall - There is significant buzz starting to build in recruiting circles about Evans and everything he brings to the table. He's transferring in to CRH and reclassing to 2028 after an incredible season at Bloomfield High School this past year. The multi-sport athlete was an All-State performer on the track in addition to earning post-season recognition on the gridiron during a state championship-winning season. He's excelled everywhere he's camped this spring and was clocked at a 4.57 in the forty at the Bone Camp. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-8 and 165-pounds. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='372556' first='Brody' last='Garner'] | Kent School - A prospect that is going to sneak up on a lot of people who aren't paying attention to the versatility he brings to the table. As of July 2024, Garner is listed at 6-foot-1 and 165-pounds and is one of the best chess pieces in this top 100 write up. Has the ball skills and testing numbers (32" inch vertical and 4.94 in the forty) to play Wide Receiver or Safety. Also has the range and strength to play Outside Linebacker in the box. His story is nowhere near done being written. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330961' first='Christian' last='Ellis'] | The Fessenden School - One of the most electric and dynamic skill position players in all of New England for the class of 2028. Line him up as a Slot Wide Receiver, Running Back or at Cornerback and Ellis is going to make a play that'll make ya wonder how he does it. With that said, he's very undersized and his height/weight is not listed anywhere as of July 2024. Size will be an uphill battle for him when it comes to reaching the highest levels of football down the line, but the kid can flat out play--he's special. Also wrestled for the first time this year and went 24-1. He's from New England.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330965' first='Connor' last='Anderson'] | Avon Old Farms - As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-7 and 135-pounds, which is obviously one of the smallest prospects on the New England Top 100 list. However, throwing on the film he's one of the top two-way prospects with an Athlete distinction. Offensively he's a speedy back with very good balance that looked to bounce runs to the outside and win a foot race. Defensively his film has several plays where he takes a good angle from the Safety position and comes down hill fast to smack the ball carrier. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1118649' first='Jackson' last='Holmes'] | Xaverian Brothers - Another player that can make a huge impact at multiple skill positions, on both sides of the ball. As of July 2024, Holmes is listed at 5-foot-9 and 160-pounds with a muscular build. Defensively he has the quickness in his back pedal to play as a pure Cornerback, yet has the range and ball skills to play both Strong and/or Free Safety. Offensively he can be used as a sure-handed Slot Wide Receiver that'll make some tough grabs and break tackles, or he can line up in the backfield and give a spark as a RB. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330975' first='Jovens' last='Jean'] | Malden Catholic - The second Malden Catholic incoming freshman to earn a spot on the New England Top 100 list. Jean is a quick-footed athlete that can play Running Back, Wide Receiver, Safety, Corner or Outside Linebacker and is reportedly getting some varsity reps for the Lancers. Is a product of the Everett Crimson Tide Pop Warner program that has produced a number of talented kids in recent years. As of July 2024 he's listed at 5-foot-8 and 160-pounds. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1122395' first='Kai' last='Young'] | Suffield Academy - In my opinion, [player_tooltip player_id='1122395' first='Kai' last='Young'] looks to be "the get" of this 2028 class in terms of an incredibly talented prospect that not many have been talking about when it comes to top athletes in New England. A three-sport athlete that also standouts in baseball and basketball, Young is a difference maker as a Wide Receiver, Safety and I wouldn't hesitate to put him at Outside Linebacker either. Elite ball skills that were on display all year for the North Kingstown Jaguars. Although he'll be going to school in Connecticut, he's from Rhode Island.

Kayden Starden | East Haven High School - I don't have a ton of information on Stardenand as I'm writing this am struggling to find the film I saw that made me stamp him, but it was impressive tape. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-1 and 195-pounds and is coming off a season where he was a big problem as a Running Back. Obviously playing out of position, but his size and speed was evident from the first play where he takes a sweep and outruns the entire defense. His build lends itself to a Tight End/Defensive type. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1002223' first='Mekhi' last='Eady'] | The Fay School - It doesn't take too much football knowledge to take one look at the 6-foot-4 and 185-pound (as of July 2024) Eady to see that there's an insane amount of potential in this young man. His natural position is Quarterback and he would have certainly made this list at that position, but he's a special kind of athlete. He plays with a ton of speed and he can see the field very well. With his size, speed and athleticism I think he has an even higher ceiling as a Wide Receiver. He gives me Randy Moss vibes in terms of his build and how he's a walking mismatch. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1287346' first='Ryan' last='Sims'] | Suffield Academy - A very intriguing prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='1287346' first='Ryan' last='Sims'] can line up at a number of different positions and make an impact. He's listed on the varsity roster as a Tight End/Running Back which is a pretty good representation of the versatility he can bring. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot and 200-pounds. Spent last season at the Eaglebrook School in Massachusetts where he built a very strong rapport with QB [player_tooltip player_id='1001665' first='Zachary' last='McKenzie'] and the duo will continue on into high school. Although Sims is going to school in Connecticut, he's from New York.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257690' first='Stephen' last='Soares Jr.'] | Taft - Long term I think Soares Jr. has the potential to be the No.1 Linebacker in Connecticut for the class of 2028, but at this point he's listed as an Athlete because of what he can do as a Running Back too. As of July 2024, Soares Jr. is listed at 6-foot-1 and 200-pounds. Had an MVP season for the New Haven Steelers this past fall and was nothing short of dominant on both sides of the ball. Plays the game angry and with attitude. He's a plug and play freshman and I expect to see him get a lot of varsity PT as a freshman. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1269654' first='William' last='Pitt-Coombs'] | North Kingstown High School - Rounding out the New England 2028 prospects with the designation of an Athlete, Pitt-Coombs is the third Ocean State prospect to earn a spot. As of July 2024, Pitt-Coombs is listed at 6-foot and 175-pounds. Most his film features him as a Wide Receiver/Outside Linebacker type of player, but during the spring he also took handoffs. Also contributed as a Returner. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270855' first='Andrew' last='Fernandez'] | Davies Career & Tech - Big, aggressive kid who can play Defensive End or Defensive Tackle at this point. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-1 and 275-pounds. He's quite raw and not super twitchy at this point, which leads me to think Defensive Tackle may ultimately win out as to where he'll line up. Has long arms and uses them decently, but there's a ton of room for sharpening his skills. Played for Ocean State Elite throughout the spring and summer and played some good talent. Also an O-Linemen. There's a lot of potential here. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1331160' first='Christianel' last='Ramos'] | Gardner High School - Big run-stuffing Iinterior D-Linemen that eats up blocks and defends against the run very well. Can be a two-gap player if defense is designed for such a roll. Quick hands off the snap and a solid get off with a lot of power and mass behind it. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot and 250-pounds. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1252870' first='Cohen' last='Strickland'] | Tabor Academy - Impressive Defensive End prospect that was a member of Team Ontario's U16 National Team in Canada. Has the potential to be freaky, as he measures in at 6-foot-4 and 210-pounds as of July 2024. Also participates in track was timed at 12.20 in the 100M. More of a pass rush specialist/Edge player. Keep an eye here, he could be one that skyrockets as up the rankings as he develops. Although he'll play in Massachusetts, he's from Ontario, Canada.

[player_tooltip player_id='992927' first='Colton' last='Fischer'] | Buckingham Browne & Nichols - The first of two Buckingham Browne & Nichols D-Line prospects to be selected to the New England Top 100 list, Fisher is knocking on the door of becoming a recruit that everyone will want to know about. Also playing some Tight End, he's just about ripe for the picking as a Defensive End, standing 6-foot-4 and 225-pounds as of July 2024. Incredible length and fundamentals allow him to disengage from Offensive Tackles like it's nothing. Someone will look smart offering early here. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1158550' first='Daniel' last='Cote Jr.'] | North Kingstown - For better or for worse, size matters in this game. After a strong spring camp season and getting verified measurements/times, not only has Cote Jr. climed up the board, but I also moved him back to Defensive Line from the Linebacker position, though I can't rule out a switch there over the next four years. As of July 2024, he's a legitimate 5-foot-11 and 200-pounds. I've always loved his motor but questioned size--that's put to bed at this point. He's aggressive and fast off the edge. Yet another member off the North Kingstown Jaguars championship winning team from last season. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1317551' first='David' last='Santiago'] | Bishop Hendricken - As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-1 and 225-pounds. Has a very strong, solid build and moves very well, posting a 4.94 laser time in the 40-yard dash. He's big enough to play inside and not get bumped around by the O-Line, but looks more at home as a Defensive End. During Spring ball played for Tenfold and was on the other side from [player_tooltip player_id='642555' first='Osiris' last='Niven'], who you'll read about below. The duo was nothing short of impressive and caused a lot of chaos all Spring. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1324927' first='Edward' last='Skeffington'] | Milton Academy - Tough two-way lineman that appears as if he will focus on the defensive side of the ball as he moves forward in his career. The third member of the Everett Crimson Tide Pop Warner program to make the New England top 100 list, Skeffington is a tough kid. Plays with a lot of power and agility, also has a noticeable mean streak. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270263' first='Jorge' last=''] Galindo Jr. | Mount Pleasant - Defensive End/Outside Linebacker/Edge type of player that is listed at 6-foot-1 and 185-pounds as of July 2024. Played on the same Mt. Hope Cowboys Pop Warner team as some of the other prospects on this list. Uses his length to his advantage and recreated the line of scrimmage in the backfield. Has used raw ability to this point but is starting to turn the corner and train as a D-End specifically, as he begins his high school career. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1002180' first='Joseph' last='Garcia'] | Bishop Hendricken - The second incoming Bishop Hendricken Defensive Linemen to make the New England Top 100 list, expect Garcia to line up on the opposite side of the above mentioned [player_tooltip player_id='1317551' first='David' last='Santiago']. Garcia brings a lot of strength and athleticism to the Hawks as D-End that can also play on the O-Line as well. Was a standout two way player for the CLCF Chiefs on both sides of the ball in 2023. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-11 and 175-pounds. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='425664' first='Justin' last='Watkins'] | Springfield Central High School - Potential is through the roof here with Watkins, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220-pounds of July 2024. Was one of the defensive standouts on the Springfield Tigers youth team this past year, that finished third at AYF Nationals this past December. Transformed his body and lost a lot of bad weight/added good muscle between this seventh and eighth grade years. Could become a big time Defensive End prospect with work. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='642555' first='Osiris' last='Niven'] | Milton Academy - In my opinion, is at the top or right near the top of the list, when it comes to New England 2028 defensive linemen. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds with a ton of athleticism. Two-time PRZ Next Middle School camp MVP. As good as pass rusher as you'll find. Great build and plays strong. Has violent, active hands that helps him win rep after rep. Niven will be joining [player_tooltip player_id='1324927' first='Edward' last='Skeffington'] at Milton Academy this upcoming season. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1250384' first='Quinton' last='Jefferson'] | Loomis Chaffee - One of the few pure Defensive Tackles to be included on the list, he's a big body listed at 6-foot-4 and 270-pounds as of July 2024. Gets off the ball quickly and throws hands right off the snap. More of a straight-line rusher at this point, as oppose to a stunter or speed rusher. Has a pretty good motor and can play anywhere from a 2-tech to 4-tech at this point. Has also played Offensive Tackle at a high level, but has hit the college camp scene primarily as a D-Tackle. He's from Connecticut

[player_tooltip player_id='1027707' first='Xzavier' last='Chafin'] | Buckingham Browne & Nichols - Another prospect that needs to be in the discussion for top 2028 defensive linemen in New England. As of July 2024, Chafin is listed at 6-foot-2 and 235-pounds and has a huge 80" wingspan (fingertip to fingertip, is as tall as NBA star Jayson Tatum). After picking up quality varsity experience this past season as an eighth-grader, the U-Mass Minutemen were first to extend a verbal offer. Expect that number to grow quickly, as he officially becomes a high school athlete. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1333755' first='Beckett' last='Conors'] | Avon Old Farms - A speedy Linebacker that can run and track down ball carriers anywhere on the field. He looks like a true Middle Linebacker at this point that can play tough in the box during inside runs, but has sideline-to-sideline ability. Reads and reacts quickly is one of the best closers I've seen on film. Also played an H-Back/Tight End position on offense. A very sure-tackler. Although he'll be attending school in Connecticut, he's from Texas.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257823' first='CJ' last='Taylor'] | Boston College High School - As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-10 and 185-pounds with a rocked up, muscular build, but 5-foot-10 could be a bit of a stretch. Classic big Middle Linebacker type that lives to deliver the big hit between the tackles. Advanced ability to read and react to what the offense is running--and does so, quickly. Was part of an excellent Hingham defense this past season. An effective blitzer who works best in situations where he moves North/South rather than horizontally. Very good tackler who wraps up and drives ball carriers backwards. Also plays baseball. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1333762' first='Colin' last='Sullivan'] | Fairfield College Prep - Long, rangy Outside Linebacker that could have made this list as a Wide Receiver as well. As of July 2024 is listed at 6-foot-1 and 155-pounds. Has just started getting into lifting and appears to have already added some muscle to his frame. Can't stress the athleticism enough here with Sullivan. Took direct snaps on designed run plays and outran defenders a lot. As an Outside Linebacker he regularly defeated blockers in space by creating separation. His length helped him make some arm tackles that will likely be broken on the varsity level, so tackling can improve. However, his improvement in terms of strength is already noticeable. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257685' first='Dean' last='Gaughran'] | Archbishop Stepniac (NY) - Another one of those prototype Middle Linebacker prospects that is one giant muscle and plays the game with a throwback sense of physicality. His football IQ is a clear separator from him and his peers--kid is very smart. It translates to his LB play, with how disciplined he is. Stays on his keys and doesn't let his eye wander too far. Takes a good heel pop at the snap and doesn't over step while diagnosing what's coming at him. He's from Connecticut, but will be playing his freshman year at Archbishop Stepniac in New York.

[player_tooltip player_id='1257822' first='Dominic' last='Senske'] | Hudson High School - While I have questions about his ceiling in terms of size and how his game will translate, Senske is certainly a plus to have on the field as he heads into his freshman season. Versatile prospect that can play Inside Linebacker, Outside Linebacker and even some Defensive End at this point. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-8 and 175-pounds. Also played Fullback during his pre-high school career. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='999489' first='Finn' last='Forger'] | Thayer Academy - As of July 2024 I don't have any official stats on Forger, but my eyes tell me that he can play some football. The second Linebacker on this New England top 100 list to come from the Hingham youth program. Forger looked better as a Running Back this past season, but my gut tells me his ceiling is high as an Outside Linebacker. He uses the same quickness on both sides of the ball and has some unassuming strength/power. I think there's a ton of potential here to really turn into a very good OLB/Strong Safety over the next four years. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1333793' first='Jaden' last='Benitez'] | E.C. Goodwin Technical High School - A very intriguing prospect as of July 2024. Has and can play Linebacker, Running Back or Defensive End. Up until this Spring season, I would have pegged him for an Outside Linebacker without question, but he seems to have picked up a bit of speed over the last few months. As of July 2024 he's listed at 5-foot-11 and 195-pounds with a frame that can develop any number of ways. He's clearly put an emphasis at training for the RB position, but I wonder if he'll eventually outgrow it, which is why the Linebacker distinction happened. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='889357' first='Liam' last='Conlon'] | Catholic Memorial - Personally, one of my favorite Linebackers in this New England 2028 class. Appears to be the whole package at this point and checks a ton of boxes. As of February 2024 was already claiming a bench press of 225 and a squat of 315. Very athletic and could easily drop back and play Strong Safety in third down situations in order to get another lineman on the field. Looks for him to log quality varsity minutes this season as a freshman, for a program that reached the MIAA Div. 2 State Semifinals last season. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273898' first='Marcelo' last='Torres'] | Cheshire Academy - Wasn't sure who he was until he showed up to our PRZ Next Middle School Camp and was one of the top Linebackers in attendance. Also a Running Back on offense, Torres showed his ability to flow and maneuver through the much of the middle of the field and still get in a position to make a play. As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-10 and 170-pounds. As oppose to some of the other MLBs in this list, Torres has good strength (not great yet) but his speed and quickness is a difference maker. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1001829' first='Nick' last='Balicki'] | Berlin High School - He's easily the best 2028 New England Linebacker that nobody else is talking about at this point. As of July 2024, he's listed at 6-foot and 185-pounds, which is 20 pounds heavier than his last update this past fall. He's coming off an ACL injury that limited to just two games this past year, but if you look at his film--it's easy to see the type of player he is. Also an untouchable Running Back on the offensive side of the ball and a lacrosse player in the off-season. Keep an eye on this young man. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1333842' first='Zachary' last='Borges'] | Rhode Island - Rounding out the Linebackers is the lone Ocean State representative in the group. Like some of the other LBs, I do have some questions as to long term size and how it will dictate his position/future level of play. However, as of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-8 and 170-pounds of compact muscle. Much of his film is running the ball, looking a true throwback Fullback. In his few defensive clips, has some promising plays as Middle Linebacker shooting gaps and wreaking havoc in the backfield. He's a strong kid, already deadlifting nearly 400-pounds. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117018' first='Angel' last='Gonzalez'] | Methuen High School - From a physical appearance, looks like he should be paying a mortgage and paying bills instead of just getting ready to enter high school. He was the first player I noticed this past December at AYF Nationals, as a member of the 13U Central Mass Chaos All-Stars. He could have made this list as an Athlete because he can play Wide Receiver and take handoffs as a Running Back, though he screams Strong Safety to me. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-10 and 160-pounds but looks more muscular than 160-pounds. Just sees the field with advanced vision (on both sides of the ball) and has a knack for making the big play. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='889345' first='Anthony' last='Whaley'] | Springfield Central - The first of three incoming Springfield Central High School freshmen to make this list, that all played together on the same youth team that finished third at AYF Nationals. Physical kid that will jam a Wide Receiver at the line and make his nose bleed and can then turn around an play off ball, before swooping in for an INT. Also provides a significant threat/presence as a Return man. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311370' first='Brady' last='Garrett'] | Xaverian Brothers - I was all set to have him listed as a Wide Receiver, until I saw him come with the Defensive Back MVP award at the Mass Elite camp held in June. While I still think there should be considerable notice given to his ability as a Slot Wide Receiver, his quickness and ball skills translate to both sides of the ball. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-9 and 135-pounds with some legitimate quickness and agility to his game. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334009' first='Connor' last='Petrosino'] | Staples High School - Originally loved him as a Running Back, but have since switched my thought process to listing him as a Defensive Back. Truth to be told, he should probably be an Athlete because of his frame and speed. While [player_tooltip player_id='1329772' first='Theo' last='Ryan'] (QB) and [player_tooltip player_id='1330953' first='Jack' last='Olsen'] (TE) held it down at their positions, Petrosino was the main threat running the ball for Westport this past season. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-9 and 155-pounds. Very fast and sudden in movements, make him for to be a threat on both sides of the ball. Isn't afraid to go for the ball and make a big play while back in coverage, because he speed makes up for it. Jury is still out on where he ultimately ends up. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334024' first='Dwight' last='Smith Jr.'] | Bristol Central High School - May possibly be the best over athlete that nobody is talking about in this New England 2028 class. As of July 2024, he's listed at 5-foot-11 and 165-pounds with long arms, excellent ball skills and a high level of overall ability. Has played a considerable amount of flag and 7v7 during his pre-high school days, in addition to tackle football. Has a thicker lower body, which leads me to believe Outside Linebacker or possession Wide Receiver isn't out of the question as he moves forward. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270933' first='Ethan' last='Machado'] | North Kingstown High School - Machado is the fifth and final member of the championship-winning North Kingston Jaguars to be included on this list, and the third one that will continue on to play for the Skippers at the High School level. Machado is a little on the smaller side, listed at 5-foot-7 and 150-pounds as of July 2024 and statistically speaking, there's no way 17 kids from Rhode Island end up being in the top 100 when all is said and done. With that said, he's a got a killer instinct as a prospect that can play Corner or Safety. He's either going to knock a WR out or make a play on the ball and leave them spitting out rubber pellets as he goes for six. He's from Rhode Island.

[player_tooltip player_id='943616' first='Eugene' last='Miller'] | Springfield Central High School - Miller is the type of Strong Safety that I would want in my defensive secondary any day of the week. Listed at 5-foot-9 and 175-pounds as of July 2024, he very well could grow into an Outside Linebacker by the time all is said and done. Also a wrestler with excellent muscle mass and build, he's the best-tackling Safety (Strong or Free) that I've evaluated in the New England 2028 class. Plays the game with an attitude and is on his way to becoming a household name. He's from Massachusetts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334061' first='J'mir' last='Williams'] | Fairfield College Prep - While as of July 2024, I don't have exacts on his height and weight, I saw everything I needed to see during this past season. He's the fourth future Jesuit of Fairfield College Prep to make the New England top 100 list and for good reason. Has to be in the discussion for the best tackler out of all the DBs in the 2028 class in New England. Closes on the ball with lightning speed and has the ability to lay the wood like a Linebacker does. Plays with great speed and agility as well, making him a threat as a Slot WR as well. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='1334070' first='Milo' last='Chandler'] | Xavier High School - As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-10 and 150-pounds, but that may be a little bit of a stretch in terms of his actual height. Also claims a 4.8 in the forty right now. Aside from measureables, his film says he can absolutely play a high level of football, as he gets set to enter the HS level. Also received a lot of consideration to make this list with his his ability as a Wide Receiver. Good body control, concentration and dependable hands make him a great asset anywhere on the field. He's from Connecticut.

[player_tooltip player_id='425663' first='Xavier' last='Thomas'] | Springfield Central High School - Wrapping up the Springfield AYF contingency, the Defensive Back selections and New England top 100 list as a whole is [player_tooltip player_id='425663' first='Xavier' last='Thomas']. As an incoming prospect he checks every box. Has a high football IQ and is the son of a HS coach and older brother (Tariq) is a Running Back at Bucknell. As of July 2024 is listed at 5-foot-10 and 180-pounds. Great build for this level and excellent speed. I personally like him as a Running Back just as much as I do a Running Back. Physical and unrelenting. Mature kid and will be a leader in this program for years to come. He's from Massachusetts.
