Santiago’s tape from the tournament highlights a player with elite physical tools and a high motor, making him a nightmare for offensive linemen. David won several reps against very good competition, showing resilience and the ability to adjust mid-rep. This competitive fire could make him a tone-setter. He explodes off the line with impressive get-off, allowing him to penetrate gaps quickly and get into the backfield. This was evident in multiple reps where he beat slower-footed tackles inside.
Santiago uses powerful, active hands to shock and control blockers, maintaining leverage throughout the engagement. He’s physical and relentless, often shedding blocks to score points. Playing low with good pad level, he maximizes his 6’2″ frame and arm length to keep blockers at bay. His reach helps in winning reps and he won several.

, a 2029 defensive line prospect from ArchBishop Williams, Massachusetts, has raised his recruiting stock following a successful 2025 season. Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 225 pounds, Santiago showcases an impressive ability to outmaneuver high school offensive linemen with his quick get-off and adept footwork. His leverage in the run game and ability to shed blocks make him a formidable presence on the field.
Despite his impressive skill set, there are some concerns regarding his height, which appears on film slightly shorter than the estimated 6’2″. To enhance his visibility and appeal during the recruiting process, Santiago should complete athletic testing early in the evaluation period. This proactive approach will enable him to identify suitable summer college camps, maximizing his exposure and opportunities.
Overall, with continued development and strategic planning, Santiago is poised to capture the attention of college recruiters and solidify his future in football.

David has quick feet, violent hands and uses leverage well on the edge. He can get around larger blockers, and uses a mix of moves to get into the backfield. A good young player that can help on the edge right away.

David may be one of the most improved players this spring. He has obviously been in the weight room, showing great strength and a good burst off the ball. He has violent hands and learned lots of technique. Another young lineman that is waiting his turn to break out… and show out.

David has a quick first step and uses a mix of moves to get into the backfield. He plays with good bend, and can take on larger blockers with some success. He has good upper body strength and plays with good balance. Young, but plays with no fear. I saw him take on national talent earlier this month and he held his own. David plays bigger than his size and he is one to watch this summer.

David got into his bag early and often. He has a quick first step and plays with violent hands. He used a mix of moves to blow past defenders and was able to rush inside or out. He plays with a good motor, and has a great burst out of his stance. Lots to see with this young pass rusher as he is starting to put it together.

David was one of the youngest players at the tournament; but found a groove and learned a lot about how to use his technique. He is quick off the ball, and can get around the edge quickly. He is still developing his hands, but his feet and hips move well. He is a talented edge player; more to come as he makes his way around other camps and tournaments.
