He is young but understands the route tree, and he is already well-versed and advanced in technique. Selvais is on track and projected to be a slot-type WR at the college level. This is based on the early skills he displays and the size he already boasts as a freshman.

Riley will be a name to know for sure come the Fall of 2024. Riley caught my attention during the drill period with the Receivers. He has some twitchiness to him. He was getting in and out of his breaks very fluid. Fast, Quick feet. As I watched him a bit more closely during 1v1’s he proved his ability. He shows to have a great understanding of route running. He won every rep he saw pressman, winning at the LOS with his release. He wins with his feet at the LOS, giving himself the leverage he needs to help create separation and win on his reps. I expect Riley to play a big, important role as a freshman in the Fall of 2024, which will help his development as a rising young prospect.

He had a great show day, while many college coaches took notice of his skill set. “Selvais displayed confidence in his skills as he ran crisp routes during 1 on 1 play. I liked his instant release from the LOS with a low pad level and little wasted movement. It was easy to notice his burst into the route. His one step cuts were obvious and threatening to any defender covering. He has very good catching ability. He can separate himself from defenders with rare top-end speed and elusiveness. “Selvais’s skill set is ahead of his age, and he could compete next season for Varsity action as an incoming freshman.
