About Finley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style is aggressive and relentless. You play hard every snap and do not stop until the whistle. You bring energy and physicality and focus on competing every play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am driven and positive person who pushes yourself in everything you do. You treat people with respect and bring a strong work ethic to sports and school. Your mentality centers on constant improvement. You want to be the best and you put in the work every day to reach that goal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I compete in lacrosse and track and field, where i throw shot put. Outside of sports i focus on academics and have earned Honor Roll twice. These experiences show my commitment to both athletics and school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing football, lacrosse, and track has helped me build strong teamwork and leadership skills. I work hard in practice and push my teammates to improve. I stay disciplined with training and schoolwork, which helped me earn Honor Roll twice. Sports also taught me accountability, communication, and how to compete while supporting my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges was getting injured and having to work my way back to the starting spot on the freshman team. The process required patience and effort. It focused on recovery, stayed committed to practice, and kept pushing myself until i earned my position back. That experience built resilience and strengthened my work ethic.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with strong academics and a competitive football program. The goal is to find a place where early playing time is possible while also receiving a quality education. A program with coaches who develop players, a strong team culture, and support for student athletes is important. The right fit includes a school that values hard work, development, and competing at a high level on the field
