At the snap of the ball, he gets off the ball while gaining ground on his first three steps. As a pass rusher, his go-to move is speed-to-power, putting blockers in the lap of quarterbacks. Graziani has a variety of inside and outside counter moves with a concrete plan. However, he needs to speed up his hand usage as he can be sluggish. As a run defender, he gets knockback extension while setting the edge.

Vincenzo Graziani enters the cycle as one of the more productive edge defenders in the region, posting 5 sacks, 11 pressures, 17 tackles, and 2 forced fumbles. At 6’5”, 215 pounds, the Saint John’s Prep defender combines length, quickness, and aggression in a way that consistently disrupts offensive fronts. His film shows long arms, explosive first-step quickness, and the ability to either overpower or out-quick high school linemen depending on the matchup. He regularly wins the edge with quick-twitch get-off skills and closes with urgency once he gains leverage.

Graziani’s best trait is the way he controls the line of scrimmage despite still carrying a relatively lean frame. He shows natural pass-rush ability, active hands, and enough bend and acceleration to threaten tackles around the corner. The next stage of his development will be adding functional mass and continuing to expand his pass-rush toolbox against better competition. Even so, the combination of verified production, length, explosiveness, and disruptive film already makes him one of the more compelling defensive prospects in this group.

Vinny continues to shine in national competition. He is an impressive receiver and edge player that gets coaches talking as soon as he steps on the field. On offense, he has a quick release off the line and gets in and out of breaks smoothly. He has a large catch radius and isn’t scared to run across the middle.
