is another rising trench prospect from Choate Rosemary Hall who has begun generating recruiting buzz after reclassifying into the class of 2029. At 6’3”, 305 pounds, Reed already has the physical frame colleges look for in developing offensive linemen. His freshman film shows a powerful player who establishes a strong base before contact and consistently moves defenders off the ball. Reed demonstrates impressive balance and leverage throughout his film while flashing the ability to work effectively in pass protection. He can slide, mirror defenders, and reach moving targets downfield while maintaining control. Although his technique still requires refinement, his raw power and natural size have already helped him pick up offers from Wake Forest Demon Deacons football, Duke Blue Devils football, Syracuse Orange football, and Rhode Island Rams football.
Reed enters camp season as a prospect with significant upside because colleges will see a player whose best football is still ahead of him. His biggest developmental areas currently involve improving his first-step explosiveness and lateral quickness, but those are areas that can improve quickly with offseason training and repetition. Coaches will also want to see verified athletic testing numbers to better understand his overall projection at the next level. Reed already flashes the strength and physicality needed to compete at a high level, and if his movement skills continue progressing throughout the offseason, his recruiting activity could increase substantially before the start of the 2026 season.

Jacob was the youngest of the OL group, but was not out of place what-so-ever. The Choate Rosemary Hall freshman was excellent all day. You could see Jacob getting better each drill and was hard to beat in 1v1s. He had the best overall size out of the group between is height and his weight distribution. Jacob was impressive with his ability to be fluid and stay low throughout the drills. He was good with his feet and how he transitioned. Was able to anchor down in 1v1s and show off his strength when needed. He had strong and active hands which allowed him to consistently get inside on defenders. He took advantage of each rep and would win consistently.
I felt that he had good confidence for a young player and responded well to coaching on the fly. Overall, I was impressed by his ability to compete with a varsity level group as a 2029. Already has an ACC offer, he will be excellent this fall for and should be someone to keep an eye the next 3 years.

stands out as a compelling offensive line prospect. Estimated at 6’3” and 280 pounds, Reed’s size alone catches the eye. With his transition to Choate Rosemary Hall for the fall of 2025 and reclassification to the 2029 class, he is an exciting player for evaluators to watch closely.
Having made an impressive start by playing varsity as a freshman at Lawrence Academy, Reed has already shown that he can compete at a high level. Scouts will certainly be looking for his technical developments during drills, particularly his first step and lateral quickness, which are essential for the quick pace of modern football.
A foundational strength of Reed’s game is his powerful presence at the line of scrimmage. His ability to establish a solid base with his feet anchored serves as the cornerstone of his dominance. His film indicates an impressive capacity to drive defenders into the ground while also penetrating to the second level, showcasing both strength and agility. His exceptional balance ensures that he rarely goes down during play, which is a critical asset for an offensive lineman. This showcases his superb pad level, knee bend, and wide base, all of which provide him with optimal leverage.
During the showcase, scouts will be particularly focused on verifying Reed’s athletic testing results and looking for fluid movement in both individual drills and team-oriented activities. The ability to mirror defenders effectively and hit moving targets downfield will be scrutinized closely.

Jake plays with a wide base and brings strength to every play. In the run game, he can get hands on defenders of any size and get a good drive. In pass pro, he has a quick kick and plays with good balance. Jake can also play defense; where he is physical at the line, and plays through the whistle. Good size and a nice skill set for this developing lineman.
