‘s 2025 season highlight film, he clearly stands out as a recruiting stock riser whose on-field performance reflects a linebacker playing with advanced mental processing and physical intent. Possessing a college-ready frame at 6’2”, 215 pounds, Conlon looks the part of a second-level enforcer who can anchor the middle of a defense.
What separates Conlon from many peers is his diagnostic ability post-snap. He consistently keys the quarterback effectively, processes run and route concepts quickly, and positions himself to make plays early in the down. His instincts show up immediately against downhill run schemes, where he demonstrates excellent gap discipline, leverage control, and interior toughness. He plugs gaps decisively and prevents runs from developing, forcing offenses into unfavorable down-and-distance situations.
Conlon plays with a physical edge that translates at contact. He is a reliable finisher who tackles with force and confidence, showing no hesitation when fitting inside. His play speed is another notable strength—once he identifies the football, he closes space rapidly and arrives with authority. This allows him to function effectively in both tight interior fits and flow-based situations where he must scrape laterally and finish in space. He thrives when allowed to play fast, attack gaps, and operate between the tackles, making him a strong fit for defenses that emphasize physicality and decisive reads. His combination of instincts, size, and toughness also suggests immediate value on special teams early in his college career.
From a projection standpoint, Conlon profiles well as a downhill MIKE or WILL linebacker in a variety of defensive structures.

– Im hearing he is getting some varsity playing time. A peak at his film clips from three early 2024 games displays a very good frame, and he can move fluidly. This confirms what we observed during his spring showcase in May 2024. He is an active player who shows very good movement at an early age. He appears Instinctive in the run game. Strong on contact. Has a solid knee bend.

is a name that will be known by many as he prepares to enter his High School playing years in the fall of 2024. “Conlon” was impressive during his showday and flashed a skill set that attracted a Div 1 coach eyes who was in attendance and then actually informed me of his skill set as he was taking reps. He has a very good frame on him and he can move. He is an active player who shows very good movement at an early age. He appears Instinctive in the run game. Strong on contact. Has a solid knee bend. Pursues well. He could break the varsity lineup in fall 2024 or, at minimum, earn some time on Varsity that will help his development.
