Kaiden Drinkwater performed really well during his show day as expected.  He is a rising sophomore that is very comfortable running all routes, possesses rare ball skills,  and has a great combination of size & speed that attracts. He displayed his skills in front of college coaches and many took notice.  He is a C/O 2027 wide receiver and currently ranked as the #1 wide receiver prospect in the class of 2027 within New England.  After the event, on May 13, 2024, he announced an offer from University of Rhode Island.

He is 6’1″ 180 lbs and is quick.  He has a competitive effort each time he steps on the field. He is fearless and confident in his skill set.  Seen as a constant threat anytime he is on the field. His instant release off of the LOS with low pad level and little wasted movement is easily seen in a live setting.  He has arnhigh-level quickness and speed and gets off press man coverages by using the technique.rnDuring the evaluation process for rankings, Drinkwater graded out as a Power 4 prospect.  He has verbal offers that will only increase during his high school career. Schools such as Duke,  Boston College, Umass, and Uconn have already shown major interest with verbal offers. He is our early selection for the #3 prospect in the class of 2027.

What we know: Saw him in live game action on November 4, 2023. He shows a competitive effort, fearlessness, and confidence in his skill set. He checks many pure athletic boxes. Has very good agility, balance, and change of direction skills. His hip flexibility, knee bending, and body quickness are also visible at a high level. Seen as a constant threat anytime he is on the field. Has an instant release off of the LOS with low pad level and little wasted movement, a burst into the route, one-step cuts, impeccable catching ability, and the ability to separate himself from defenders with rare top-end speed and elusiveness. He is able to catch a jump ball easily as a post, shallow, slant, or hitch. He is very comfortable running all routes, possesses rare ball skills, has a great combination of size & speed, and has a willingness to block. His lateral movement ability and leaping ability are easily noticed on film.  He will be a kid that ranks high within the class of 2027 when rankings are released in January 2024. His measurables align with Division 1 FBS Power 5 Wide Receivers.  Shows an early D1 skill set. Very high ceiling for this young man.

He is a prospect who played Varsity Football in 2022 at Leominster High School in Massachusetts as a 9th grader (Freshman).  He has now been reclassified into the 2027 class at Tabor Academy.

October 2022 – Scout Analysis – Drinkwater” has already broken the Varsity lineup and he is showing why he is on the field. He shows a competitive effort, fearlessness, and confidence in his skill set. He checks many pure athletic boxes. Has very good agility, balance, change of direction skills. Drinkwater is a far experienced and mature athlete who I project  will be a Div 1 athlete with the potential to be a special player at the next level.
