Haney did a nice job protecting the middle of the pocket and giving Clarkson time to throw the ball.

He is a very effective communicator and did a nice job calling out inside blitzes and he was ready for any stunt Mater Dei threw at the Bosco offensive line.

His hips are square in pass protection and he has a nice, wide base. Haney’s run blocking could improve but he was facing big 1-technique players for Mater Dei.

Coach Jason Negro raved about Haney to media during the week and it’s easy to see why.
