The defensive back from Iona Prep had some of the best reps of the day. Galloway was very physical and didn’t back down from some of the top receivers at the event. He excelled in press coverage where he gave receivers a difficult time to get off the line of scrimmage. Galloway was disrupting routes and was fast out of his breaks. Just like so many Iona Prep defensive backs, Galloway looked polished and brought amazing intensity. I expect him to step up as a leader for the Iona Prep defense this fall.

Here’s a young man I was late on. I hadn’t had his number written down up until I saw him dominate 1v1s. He was also brought up to me by a DB coach who had obviously watched his group from start to finish. My eyes were plugged on 102 from the moment I realized how he was operating during 1v1s. Didn’t lose a rep while my eyes were on him. Played in-breaking routes well. Close to 5’11 without cleats, one of the bigger corners at the camp yet he handled speed well. Annoying and handsy. Used leverage well so it was a mistake for wideouts to try this kid inside. Distance limited between he and the hip of the wideout, looked like he was mirroring kids within the first five yards of each rep. Good player, ranked as a top 20 DB in his class.

He has been solid in 1v1 coverage and Galloway has some great speed to him. His upcoming junior year, he will make a big impact in that Gales secondary. He’ll team up with Adande Nartey Adande Nartey 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB Suffield Academy | 2025 State New E and Terron Johnson Terron Johnson 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB St Thomas More Ct. | 2026 State New E to form one of the scariest secondaries in this league.
