Iona Prep has a good history with TE’s with Justin Jolly, and the next TE, might be even better.

is a 2029 Prospect, who is part of the exceptional 2029 Class, the Gaels have. Standing at 6’1″ 195-Pounds, Menghi displays an exceptional build for a TE, and displays versatility, with the ability to lineup out wide as a WR, and as a TE. Menghi off the line is an exceptional athlete, who gains separation easily. Down the field, he is a major threat, and showcases elite hands, making tough catches look easy. Menghi is the next big time weapon out of Iona Prep.

. Menghi is one of my top playmakers in 2029, and ranks 7th across the state. Standing at 6’1″ 180-Pounds, he showcases a good frame for a TE/WR, and showcases elite versatility at both positions.
enghi is an excellent blocker as a TE, and can open running lanes and pancake defenders through running reps. He has excellent hands, and is an amazing ball tracker. For a TE, he has good footwork, and speed.
He is an elite addition for Iron Hawks, given his versatility as a TE/WR. His size, and skills make him a deadly pass catching threat in space, and it is no secret why he is one of the top 2029 recruits in New York.

is a talented TE that was able to show his versatility in the receiving and blocking game in all functions. Moreover, he has the ability to line up out wide, with his hand in the dirt, and in the slot. Even more, Menghi has the ability to stretch the field and uncover in the intermediate and deep areas. He was also an option on shorter concepts such as outs, slants, and digs, frequently providing his quarterback with a dependable target. The blocking ability to be set in motion and be an asset in the run game from shotgun is a benefit.

Menghi is my favorite prospect on this list, simply due to his versatility. he stands at 6’1″ 180-Pounds, giving him a solid frame for a TE. While most TE, are above 200-pounds, Menghi can be utilized as a WR, as well given his frame.
His film is electric, and he played a majority of the season on JV, before being called up to help the Gaels win the Catholic League Championship. Menghi is an excellent blocker as a TE, and can open running lanes and pancake defenders through running reps. He has excellent hands, and is an amazing ball tracker. For a TE, he has good footwork, and speed.
I want to see him improve his route running, and after the catch skills. With this, I don’t see a way, anyone in the Catholic League, can tackle him. Menghi wore #1 for a reason, and he was easily a game changer for the Gaels this past season.
