WR Report: 2029 Game Changing Pass Catchers

The 2029 Rankings are upon us, and with the next wave of prospects starting to shine across the state, we start our first look at the next Pass Catchers, from across New York. While it is too early to evaluate a majority of prospects, we will take a Quick Look, and list some Pro's, and some areas the prospects should look to work on as they progress through the High School Level. In this article, we will look at three 2029 Pass Catchers from across the state of New York, who can change the game. The Orchard Park Freshman, stands at 6'1" 175-Pounds, displaying an outstanding build for a WR, and still displays plenty of room to grow, as he progresses through High School. He is a two-way player, and also took snaps as an EDGE Rusher.   On tape, he displays excellent footwork, and the ability to make quick changes to his direction. He can reach his top speed quickly, and is hard to stop in open space. He displays good hands, and showcased his ability to take off on screen reps. He has solid routes, and puts an emphasis on his breaks, creating more separation. I want to see him continue progressing his route running ability.   Rogers has the potential to become one of the top WR in WNY, and has put together a solid tape. He played on JV, but will likely move up. His versatility and skills, contribute to showcase his ability as a game changer.      Menghi is my favorite prospect on this list, simply due to his versatility. he stands at 6'1" 180-Pounds, giving him a solid frame for a TE. While most TE, are above 200-pounds, Menghi can be utilized as a WR, as well given his frame.   His film is electric, and he played a majority of the season on JV, before being called up to help the Gaels win the Catholic League Championship. Menghi is an excellent blocker as a TE, and can open running lanes and pancake defenders through running reps. He has excellent hands, and is an amazing ball tracker. For a TE, he has good footwork, and speed.   I want to see him improve his route running, and after the catch skills. With this, I don't see a way, anyone in the Catholic League, can tackle him. Menghi wore #1 for a reason, and he was easily a game changer for the Gaels this past season.     Lastly on this list is [player_tooltip player_id='2103161' first='Anthony' last='Moore']. The Chaminade Prospect, stands at 6'0" 140-Pounds, displaying a thinner build for a WR. I want to see Moore, continue growing to fill out his build, to reach around 180-190 Pounds.   Moore can play on both sides of the ball, and showed versatility, with snaps in the secondary, and as a WR. He also took snaps as a Returner, where he flashed good speed, along with solid footwork. As a WR, film was limited, but he showed a good first step, and footwork, which gained him separation. He has good hands and can rack up catches with ease.   Moore is a versatile athlete, who can play across the board. His versatility along with his skills as a WR, make him a game changing WR to watch.
