Byrne the #1 player in New York is busy with official visits to top programs around the nation all month. In his official visit to Clemson, Byrne was offered and it looked as though he was involved in a priority weekend for Clemson where they had several of their top targets on campus.

Although Byrne missed some of last season with an injury there is no reason to move him from the #1 spot that he earned after his sophomore season and his limited junior film confirmed he is still the best OL in New York.

Byrne is a special athlete at his size and it is the main reason he is so highly sought after by major schools around the country. Byrne is very strong both on tape and in the weight room but his quickness and ability to move at his size are just as impressive.

Byrne has official visits set up to Clemson – Michigan State – Florida State – Penn State in that order making it a big summer for the Iona Prep OT.

After racking up offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida in June. Rowan Byrne Rowan Byrne 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Iona Prep | 2025 State NY is already the most sought after recruit in New York. The talented offensive lineman has been a mainstay on the line for Iona Prep and will return not only as likley their most impactful player on offense but potentially overall. Not only does Byrne have incredible length but he is so powerful due to an extremely strong base. Byrne can play multiple positions on the offensive line and has shown the ability to block well in space or inside with bigger defensive tackles. Byrne has offers from all the major northeast FBS programs with offers from Boston College, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, and UCONN. Byrne is starting to get some serious recognition outside of the northeast with an offer from Charlotte and easily could become the top player in the state with potential to get some serious national recruiting recognition.
