In the contest, he went for over 350 yards passing and 4 touchdowns, while adding another 100+ rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground. The Arizona commit is a current 4-star and rated as a top 15 quarterback across the country according to multiple recruiting sites.

Demond Williams Demond Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Basha | 2024 State AZ , Basha’s standout QB, was an electrifying force in last night’s 31-13 trouncing of Brophy. From the get-go, it was evident that Williams had a game plan, bulldozing his way through the defense. He ended up doing a little more than that with his legs, as his cuts and quick burst after was on full display throughout the night. He followed that gameplan perfectly, with three remarkable rushing TDs before halftime alone. While his completion rate might’ve taken a slight dip compared to earlier season performances, (thanks large in part to a good game by the Brophy secondary) it didn’t matter at all as he consistently exploited Brophy’s defense, making the most of every pocket and opportunity. The offense struggled a bit in the second half, and they’ll be looking to improve on that with a big showdown against Hamilton looming. All eyes will be on Demond to see if he can keep this magical run going.

The Basha quarterback started his season off with a bang having 432 total yards rushing and passing. Every time Williams has the ball in his hands it is must watch television. Even at 5’11 185 pounds Williams is tough to take down in the open field. He left Westwood fans amazed when he reversed fields and ran for 76 yards touchdown. He does it with his arm as well having a cannon that can make every throw. He has a quick release and can make strong throws downfield rolling left or right. Add that in with the accuracy where he can pin-point into tight windows. He has to make the Arizona Wildcats happy he has verbally committed.
