Diaz-Nicolaidis was a disruptive force in Bishop Gorman’s 56-6 handling of Foothill in the state semifinal on Friday. The state’s third-ranked EDGE prospect racked up 10 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 TFLs and 8 pressures in his dominant performance. He showed his speed and bend around the edge dominating his 1v1 matchups and set a physical tone in the run game. The UNLV-commit will look to finish his high school career with another big-time performance in the state title game against Arbor View next week.

Diaz-Nicolaidis has OVs lined up with Hawaii (6/5) and UNLV (6/13) over the next two weeks. The talented EDGE/TE prospect transferred in to Bishop Gorman from Oregon this offseason and has a total of 10+ D-I offers in hand. Diaz-Nicolaidis took an official visit to Nevada back in April and was on campus at Oregon St. this past weekend.

Andreas came to the national powerhouse Bishop Goraman from Oregon this off-season. Andreas has shown D1 potential on both sides of the ball as a TE and Edge player. At Saturday’s UTR camp,p Andreas showed why he is considered one of the top edge players in the state. Andreas has great size, length, bend, and speed off the edge, making him an elite prospect. Andreas already holds over 10 D1 offers with many more to come.

Nicolaidis transferred in to Bishop Gorman this offseason after breaking out as a D-I prospect on both sides of the ball with Central Catholic (Portland, OR). Possesses the size (6’4″/240) and athleticism to play either EDGE or TE at the next level and has picked up several D-I offers as an EDGE this offseason. Plays fast and physical off the edge with the twitch and technique to make quick work of OTs and penetrate the backfield. Packs violent, powerful hands and is explosive getting off the ball. Nicolaidis holds over ten D-I offers including UNLV, Nevada, Utah St., and most recently Pitt.

Diaz-Nicolaidis picked up a seventh D-I offer from Army and was re-offered by UNLV in late January. The 6’4″/240 EDGE/TE transferred in to powerhouse Bishop Gorman after spending the past few seasons at Central Catholic in Portland, Oregon. He’s a versatile athlete that shows all the physical tools and talent to develop into D-I playmaker on either side of the ball. Diaz-Nicolaidis holds other offers from Wake Forest, Idaho, Penn, Nevada, and Colorado St.
