About Dorian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart, aggressive, and versatile. I lock up on defense at nickel or corner, and I make plays at wide receiver. I study the game, play fast, hit hard, and step up wherever the team needs me — defense, offense, or special teams.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Disciplined, focused, and competitive. I lead by example, stay grounded in my faith, and bring energy wherever I go. I’m locked in on growth — as a player, a student, and a leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I serve as the Sophomore Class President at St. John Bosco and was also Freshman Class President. I’m in ASB, active in leadership events, and I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking college courses. I’ve also received academic honors for both high school and college-level performance.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership by serving as class president two years in a row and being active in ASB. Football has sharpened my discipline, communication, and ability to lead under pressure. I’ve learned how to work as part of a team — whether it’s on the field, in the classroom, or through community service. Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been fighting to get noticed. I’ve always believed in my ability, but I wasn’t the most hyped recruit early on. So I had to work harder, stay patient, and let my game speak — whether it was making plays on defense, stepping up on offense, or leading off the field. That grind taught me how to stay focused, keep my faith, and control what I can control.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that pushes me on the field and in the classroom — somewhere with strong academics, high-level football, and a culture that builds men, not just athletes. I want coaches who develop players and care about character, and a team that feels like family. I’m also looking for a place that values leadership, discipline, and faith.

Franklin has been putting up good performances at camps like this for as long as I can remember and Sunday was no exception. He is a nickel who is physical but also smart in timing his pass break ups. Franklin has good control of his body and never bites on double moves.

Franklin had 34 tackles with two interceptions last season as a sophomore for the Braves.

Texas A&M and Sacramento State have also offered Franklin recently.

Playing for one of the top programs nationally as a sophomore Frankling is a high level DB/nickel corner with an excellent skillset. Shows quick footwork with the ability to mirror inside slot routes. He’s got great reactionary quickness and recovery speed to close separation with the ball in the air. Love his ability to bait the QB and then jump into the throwing lane. He’s comfortable reading eyes and possesses the awareness to anticipate the throw and break on it. Great ball skills at the catch point showing he can attack the ball and extend to either pick it or knock it down. Aggressive in run support he’s not afraid of contact and can break down in space to make an open field tackle. He’s a major D1 prospect that will see heavy recruiting attention before long.
