Enjoy!

The 2025 football season has come to an end and the calendar has officially flipped to 2026. Throughout the month of January, we'll be putting the spotlight on some of the top individuals from the 2025 football season. From All State Teams to our Player Of The Year award and much more! In today's post, we're unveiling our 2025 All State 2nd Team selections with a breakdown on each player. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma all week as it's All State week! We released the first team selections earlier this week and still have 3rd team and honorable mention selections! Also check out PRZ-Oklahoma for more individual spotlights throughout the month. And finally, be sure to check out our PRZ-Oklahoma YouTube Channel for exclusive (and free) video content recapping the 2025 football season!

OFFENSE

QB - [player_tooltip player_id='1179996' first='Acyn' last='Hansen'] - Senior - Jones

Jones senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1179996' first='Acyn' last='Hansen'] helped guide the Longhorns to a perfect 14-0 record and the Class 2A-1 state championship. Hansen, in our opinion, was one of the best players in the state of Oklahoma, week after week. He torched defenses with his arm and his legs and was a huge reason why the Longhorns are back on top.

RB - [player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] - Senior - Owasso

You could see late in the 2024 season that Owasso running back [player_tooltip player_id='1549987' first='Jayden' last='Hall'] was evolving into one of the best running backs in the state. He carried that momentum into his senior season and helped the Rams make a second straight state championship game. Hall went from one part of a deep backfield to one of the best backs in the state.

RB - [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] - Senior - Vian

For the second straight year, Vian senior [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] was one of the best players in the state. The Wolverines had to settle for the silver ball once again but Wright was one of the best players on the field, every time he stepped on the field. We've said this plenty of times but Wright is one of the most underrated players in the state.

RB - [player_tooltip player_id='1161913' first='Wyatt' last='Atkinson'] - Senior - Perkins-Tryon

Perkins-Tryon senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1161913' first='Wyatt' last='Atkinson'] was this year's Most Improved Player after going from a solid role player to one of the most productive running backs in the state. Atkinson ran for over 2,000 yards and played some of his best football against the toughest opponents. The senior was dynamic all season long.

WR - [player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] - Junior - Jenks

Prior to his junior season, Jenks standout [player_tooltip player_id='1030447' first='Kailib' last='Dillard'] was known more for his abilities in the secondary. But he became a full time playmaker on offense and ended up being one of the best wide receivers in the state. Dillard is another player that could earn All State honors for either side of the ball. But his production on offense was undeniable.

WR - [player_tooltip player_id='1704215' first='Noah' last='Lloyd'] - Junior - Talihina

We've said this a few times before but we don't have full stats for every single team. But we can't imagine that there are many other wide receivers that had better numbers than Talihina junior [player_tooltip player_id='1704215' first='Noah' last='Lloyd'] had this season. Lloyd put up monster numbers all year and that didn't slow down as he played a big part in their championship victory.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='587268' first='Brooks' last='Barron'] - Senior - Owasso

All eyes were on Owasso senior [player_tooltip player_id='587268' first='Brooks' last='Barron'] after the Rams lost two P4 offensive linemen from the 2024 squad. Barron stepped up in a major way and helped pave the way for Hall and the rest of the Owasso offense. Behind Barron and the Owasso offense, the Rams played for another state championship in December.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='1626554' first='Daniel' last='McMorris'] - Senior - Norman North

Norman North senior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1626554' first='Daniel' last='McMorris'] had a fantastic 12-month stretch, going from a 2026 prospect with a high ceiling to one of the best 2026 OL prospects in the state. McMorris was a big part of Norman North continuing to be one of the best offensive units in the state and he did it against the best competition.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='505619' first='Jack' last='Mendoza'] - Senior - Jones

Jones senior [player_tooltip player_id='505619' first='Jack' last='Mendoza'] was a very underrated part of the championship run that the Longhorns went on. This team had a very solid senior class and Mendoza has been a big part of it from the beginning. Behind Mendoza and this Jones offense, the Longhorns were able to go 14-0 and capture the Class 2A-1 state championship.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='1101282' first='Lincoln' last='Torres'] - Junior - Lincoln Christian

We could make the argument that Lincoln Christian junior [player_tooltip player_id='1101282' first='Lincoln' last='Torres'] could be an All State selection on either side of the line of scrimmage. But we're plugging him in on offense because his playing style of mauling opponents worked really well on offense. He helped clear the road for a dominant Lincoln rushing attack.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='1701284' first='Thomas' last='Welch'] - Senior - Carl Albert

Carl Albert senior [player_tooltip player_id='1701284' first='Thomas' last='Welch'] is another example of a lineman that excelled on offense and defense. But when it comes to the Titans in 2025, they had one of the best running backs in the state. But he doesn't have his record-breaking season without Welch and a very experienced Carl Albert offensive line leading the way up front.

DEFENSE

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='284115' first='Jae'Lin' last='Battle'] - Senior - Edmond Santa Fe

Edmond Santa Fe senior [player_tooltip player_id='284115' first='Jae'Lin' last='Battle'] led the Wolves in sacks and tackles for loss during his senior season. It's been clear for a while now that Battle is one of the best defensive linemen in the state and that was on full display during the 2025 season. No matter where he lined up on the line, Battle had a significant impact.

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='467410' first='Nehemiah' last='Kolone'] - Senior - Stillwater

Stillwater senior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='467410' first='Nehemiah' last='Kolone'] finally got to play a full season where he wasn't limited by nagging injuries throughout. The outcome? Kolone was one of the most terrorizing defenders in the state. Kolone has been a player that we've liked for a while now and he put all the pieces together to have a dominant senior year.

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='1179991' first='Tajh' last='Overton'] - Senior - Owasso

Owasso senior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1179991' first='Tajh' last='Overton'] is an interior defender that can completely shut things down on the line of scrimmage. We saw Overton dominate the line of scrimmage time after time. Like most defensive tackles, to see his true production, you have to watch the player because it goes much deeper than a stat sheet.

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='1607343' first='Tripp' last='Alexander'] - Senior - Putnam City

Putnam City defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1607343' first='Tripp' last='Alexander'] helped lead Putnam City one game short of playing for the state championship. Alexander, in our opinion, was the unquestioned leader of a defense that was lights out throughout the season, specifically in the front seven. Alexander was a monster on the interior of the defensive line.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='1837040' first='Brock' last='O'Dell'] - Senior - Sand Springs

Sand Springs senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1837040' first='Brock' last='O'Dell'] had a strong case for All State honors with his play on defense alone. But when you combine that with what he did in the playoffs at the running back position, including in the state championship game, there was no doubt that he was going to be on the list. But his spot was earned on defense.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='216547' first='Colton' last='McComb'] - Junior - Edmond Memorial

Coming into the 2025 football season, we liked what Edmond Memorial brought back on the defensive side of the ball and it began with [player_tooltip player_id='216547' first='Colton' last='McComb'] at the LB position. The Bulldogs were filthy in the front seven and for the second straight year, McComb was incredibly productive. McComb is another example of a LB that doesn't slow down.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='1830547' first='Darion' last='Thomas'] - Junior - Carl Albert

Carl Albert junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1830547' first='Darion' last='Thomas'] ended up being their tackling machine in 2025. Someone had to take the role from [player_tooltip player_id='1839454' first='Caden' last='Davis'] after he graduated. Thomas would lead the Titans in tackles as they captured another state championship. Thomas ended up being a breakout star on a Carl Albert defense that was nearly as stingy as the '24 unit.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1574394' first='Bridge' last='Barrett'] - Senior - Sulphur

There are a lot of underrated players in Oklahoma but Sulphur senior [player_tooltip player_id='1574394' first='Bridge' last='Barrett'] might be at the top of that list. Barrett has been one of the best cover corners in Oklahoma over the last two seasons. He also helped the Bulldogs on offense but it's what he was able to do on defense in 2025 that earns him All State honors.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] - Senior - Bixby

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] is the first of two Bixby defensive backs on this breakdown. Snyder has been a dude for the Spartans for a few years now. It hasn't mattered where Snyder has lined up on the field, he finds a way to have an impact and play at a high level. Snyder also plays with a confidence that is unmatched by nearly everyone he's faced.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1829899' first='Gabriel' last='Osborne'] - Junior - Mustang

Mustang junior [player_tooltip player_id='1829899' first='Gabriel' last='Osborne'] reached new heights in his first season running with the Broncos. Osborne moved over from Putnam City and he was playing at the highest level, week after week, and he was producing. Osborne is one of the best overall athletes in the state's 2027 class and his ceiling continues to get higher and higher.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1096191' first='Tyler' last='Wright'] - Senior - Bixby

Bixby senior [player_tooltip player_id='1096191' first='Tyler' last='Wright'] is another perfect example of a player that has been criminally underrated in the last two seasons. Wright took his game to new heights during his senior season. He was one of the state's best ball hawks, finishing near the top in interceptions. And time after time, Wright seemed to play his best against the top competition.

KICKER/ATHLETES

K - [player_tooltip player_id='2114880' first='Bryan' last='Medrano'] - Senior - Newcastle

We don't have stats from every school across the state but it's safe to say that Newcastle senior [player_tooltip player_id='2114880' first='Bryan' last='Medrano'] is either at the top or near the top when it came to field goals this season. Medrano established himself as one of the top kickers in the state, going 7-9 with a long of 47 yards. He was also automatic on PAT attempts in 2025.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='595759' first='Crew' last='Noles'] - Senior - Norman

Norman senior [player_tooltip player_id='595759' first='Crew' last='Noles'] is the perfect example of the athlete position. There aren't many positions in the skill department that Noles DIDN'T play during his senior season. The Tigers needed a playmaker and Noles was able to provide that throughout the 2025 season. It didn't matter if it was on offense, defense or special teams.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='1539927' first='Donavin' last='Garfield'] - Senior - Seminole

Seminole senior [player_tooltip player_id='1539927' first='Donavin' last='Garfield'] was one of the most electric dual-threat quarterbacks in the state this season. He put up monster numbers as a passer and as a runner in 2025. He was also incredibly productive on the defensive side of the ball as well. But there is no doubt that he was a human highlight reel on offense this season.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='1035154' first='Kaleb' last='Blackwolf'] - Junior - Del City

Del City junior [player_tooltip player_id='1035154' first='Kaleb' last='Blackwolf'] took a massive step forward this season. Offensively, there wasn't much that Blackwolf wasn't able to do. He could run the ball and was also productive in the passing game. Defensively, he continued to step up his game and he also produced in special teams. Blackwolf will be one of the best players in Oklahoma in 2026.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='587262' first='Ricklan' last='B Holmes II'] - Senior - Del City

Del City senior [player_tooltip player_id='587262' first='Ricklan' last='B Holmes II'] continued to be one of the state's best linebackers but we couldn't deny the production that he also had on the offensive side of the ball. Holmes was outstanding on both sides of the ball for the second straight season. Just like Blackwolf, Holmes was one of the very best two-way players in Oklahoma.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='1719591' first='Roman' last='Tucker'] - Senior - Cushing

Cushing senior [player_tooltip player_id='1719591' first='Roman' last='Tucker'] nearly led the Tigers back to the Class 4A state championship game in 2025. His production on offense and defense was among the best in the state. He was torching defenses all season as a passer and a runner throughout the year. He would turn around and play at a high level on defense in the secondary.
