Norman North left tackle Daniel McMorris Daniel McMorris 6'6" | OL Norman North | 2026 State OK flew up the rankings 14 spots and is firmly considered one of the top offensive linemen in this class. McMorris is committed to Cal and it’s a great get for them because he is an incredibly impressive and athletic left tackle prospect. Throw on his film from this season it doesn’t even take a minute to realize what kind of talent McMorris possesses and he’s just scratching the surface on what he’s going to be down the line. Whether he’s mauling guys on the line of scrimmage or getting out to the second level or on the boundaries and tossing defensive backs down, he is a very fun player to watch. McMorris is an example of a prospect where the ceiling is incredibly high and it wouldn’t be surprising in three or four years that we look back and think he should have been much higer.

Senior offensive lineman and Minnesota commit Daniel McMorris Daniel McMorris 6'6" | OL Norman North | 2026 State OK really started taking off around this time last year. He emerged as one of the state’s top offensive tackle prospects and then became a legitimate Power 4 prospect. Eventually, McMorris would narrow down his options and landed on Minnesota. He’s been committed to them for a while now and he’s set to go into his senior season knowing where he’s headed to college. On the football field, McMorris has a big responsibility to bring the rest of the Norman North offensive line along. They could be incredibly potent on offense with all the talent they have back but the O-line has to pave the way.

Every time we do a ranking update, it doesn’t take long to figure out that we’ve left somebody off that not only should be in but should be pretty high up. When it came to our last 2026 update in October, that guy was Norman North offensive lineman Daniel McMorris Daniel McMorris 6'6" | OL Norman North | 2026 State OK after seeing him absolutely explode as a prospect last fall. McMorris looks to be your prototypical offensive tackle that has the type of size and athletic ability that college coaches are hoping to land and then mold into a dominant force on the line of scrimmage. McMorris helped a Norman North offense become one of the better units in Class 6A-1 in 2024. Similar to just about every player on this breakdown, we are fired up to see him in person as soon as possible.
