With the 2023 high school football season behind us, another senior class will be moving on to the next level. As we move into a new season, I wanted to take a look back at the class of 2024 by releasing the final 2024 rankings for the state of Kentucky. With these rankings being officially published, I will be taking the next week to break down each position. After already covering the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, I will now wrap up my final position rankings breakdowns for the class of 2024 in the state of Kentucky with our top “ATH” in the class that have made an impact at multiple positions.

He played a huge role in Bryan Station's run to the 6A State Championship Game. On defense, Haskins lined up at safety where he was a true ball hawk in the secondary. He showed great instincts, showing the ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Haskins finished the season with seven interceptions in 14 games, returning one of them for a touchdown. He also showed the ability to provide support against the run, finishing the season with 50 tackles and three tackles for loss. JT was also a dangerous deep threat at receiver on offense, finishing the season as his team's leading receiver with 41 catches for 878 yards and 10 touchdowns. Haskins signed with Ohio where I see him being a true impact player at the next level.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["418717"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='418717' first='Justin' last='Ruffin Jr'] is a player that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to impress this season. He played a key role in CAL's 3A State Championship run. Ruffin was an electric receiver on the offensive side of the ball where he was able to use his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He also showed the ability to use his speed and elusiveness after the catch to turn short passes into big gains. Ruffin finished the season with 86 receptions for 1,379 yards and 18 touchdowns in 15 games. Justin also made an impact on defense where he was a lockdown corner on the outside. He finished the season with 39 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two interceptions. Ruffin is committed to Army where I can see him being a key contributor at the next level.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["381927"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='381927' first='Parker' last='Chaney'] is another two-way player that continued to stand out to me during his senior season. He stood out the most on the offensive side of the ball at receiver, finishing the season with 56 catches for 724 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. Chaney is an impressive route runner that uses smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. He has also shown the ability to get up the field after the catch to turn short passes into big gains. Chaney also played a key role on defense, lining up all over the secondary. He finished the season with 27 tackles and two interceptions. Parker signed with Dayton where I can see him finding a key role once he gets there.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["499069"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='499069' first='Daniel' last='Thomas'] quickly climbed up our rankings following a historic senior season. Thomas led the entire country in rushing, finishing the season with 400 carries for 3,817 yards and 54 touchdowns in 15 games. He showed the speed to run straight through the defense on long runs along with the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Thomas also caught three passes for 71 yards. Daniel also played a key role on defense at linebacker, finishing the season with 94 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack. He also recovered two fumbles, returning one of them for a touchdown. Partin was one of the most productive ball carriers in the state on offense, finishing the season with 224 carries for 1,925 yards and 25 touchdowns in nine games. He is a hard runner that has shown the strength and contact balance to run straight through defenders without losing stride. Partin has also shown that he has the speed to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Steve also played a key role on defense at linebacker, finishing the season with 68 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and five sacks.
