Lukus McDaniels Lukus McDaniels 6'5" | 230 lbs | ATH Jeffersontown | 2024 State KY is a player that has quickly climbed up our rankings. McDaniels is the focal point of the Jeffersontown offense. This past season, he lined up at quarterback but was mainly a run-first option, finishing with 65 carries for 343 yards and four touchdowns. He is a big, physical ball carrier with the ability to break tackles without losing stride while also showing the speed to break away for long runs at any given moment. On defense, McDaniels lines up at linebacker and finished this past season with 47 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. He does a great job of reading the play and coming downhill in a hurry to make tackles. McDaniels has also shown some ability in pass coverage, coming away with three interceptions this past season. Lukus currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Liberty, and Marshall, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber talent that could play on either side of the ball at the next level.
