He played a huge role in Bryan Station’s run to the 6A State Championship Game. On defense, Haskins lined up at safety where he was a true ball hawk in the secondary. He showed great instincts, showing the ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Haskins finished the season with seven interceptions in 14 games, returning one of them for a touchdown. He also showed the ability to provide support against the run, finishing the season with 50 tackles and three tackles for loss. JT was also a dangerous deep threat at receiver on offense, finishing the season as his team’s leading receiver with 41 catches for 878 yards and 10 touchdowns. Haskins signed with Ohio where I see him being a true impact player at the next level.

He also finished the season as his team’s leading receiver, catching 41 passes for 878 yards and 10 touchdowns. JT signed with Ohio where I expect him to be a true impact player once he gets there.

JT also finished the season as his team’s leading receiver, catching 41 passes for 878 yards and 10 touchdowns. Haskins is committed to Ohio where I can see him developing into a key contributor once he gets there.

He finished his junior year with 46 tackles, one tackle for loss, and four interceptions, Haskins is a true ball hawk, showing the ability to read the play and cover a ton of ground in a hurry to make a play on the ball. When the ball is thrown in his direction, Haskins has shown the ability to catch interceptions in stride and take the ball the other way for big returns. JT is also a very dangerous receiver on offense, finishing this past season with 40 receptions for 758 yards and eight touchdowns. He is able to use his speed to pose as a deep threat and also make big plays after the catch. Haskins is also electric on special teams as a returner, returning one kickoff for a touchdown as a junior. He also showed a willingness to fill the lane and make tackles in the open field against the run. Haskins also played a key role on offense as one of the Defenders’ leading receivers and returned one kickoff for a touchdown on special teams. The junior safety made his mark on the Defenders’ playoff run, finishing with 15 total tackles and an interception. Haskins is a ball hawk on the back end of the Defenders’ secondary, showing the ability to read the play and cover a ton of ground in a hurry to put himself in a position to make a play. Once he sees the ball in the air, he has shown the ability to time his breaks with perfect timing to make a play on the ball. Against the run, Haskins has shown the ability and willingness to come downhill and fill the lane to provide support. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Haskins is a very reliable open field tackler. Haskins currently holds offers from Marshall, Tennessee Tech, Akron, Eastern Kentucky, Miami (OH), and Louisville, and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he is a Power 5 caliber talent at safety.
