Nehemiah Brown-Hamlin Nehemiah Brown-Hamlin 6'2" | 160 lbs | ATH Kentucky Country Day | 2024 State KY is a player that has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out this season. He lined up at safety where he was very impressive in pass coverage. Hamlin is a true ball hawk on the back end of the secondary, showing the ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. He finished the season with five interceptions in 14 games, returning one of them for a touchdown. Nehemiah also showed the ability to provide support against the run, finishing the season with 61 tackles. He also played a key role on offense at receiver, catching 22 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns. Nehemiah currently holds an offer from Pikeville and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

On offense, he lines up in the slot back position. As a ball carrier, he uses his speed to get around the edge and then run away from the defense once he hits the open field. He also has great vision with the ability to find the cut back lane and hit it in a hurry. Nehemiah has also shown ability as a pass catcher, using his speed and quickness to create separation from opposing defensive backs. On the defensive side of the ball, he is a very talented defensive back, showing the ability to read route concepts and break at the right moment to make plays on the ball. Nehemiah also does a good job of coming downhill and making tackles in the open field against the run.
