was a great addition to an already-loaded Martinsburg roster this off-season and he’s stepped right in as their best defensive lineman.
The Davidson commit is another highly impressive interior DL prospect who is athletic and powerful. Pollard may have the quickest first step among the interior defensive line group in the state this season and can split the guard and center at a high level. His wrestling background aids his play in leverage and hand use while also making him a sure tackler. Pollard gets consistent penetration into the backfield and is versatile in being able to stop the run and rush the passer from the interior. He has the potential to have a great college career as he continues to fill out his frame.

Now in the 6’0 260 range, Pollard is primed for his best season yet with a lot of talent around him that could open more opportunities for him in the stat book. His wrestling background also aids his efforts on the football field a ton and is another trait we love in linemen.”

has been an animal for the Musselman Applemen so far this season and the 6’1 250 junior is one of the best defensive linemen in the 2025 class. He’s playing more inside this season which I feel is the best spot for him especially as he’s gotten bigger and putting on more weight. At 6’1, Pollard can play with good leverage inside and really get under offensive linemen. He’s a very strong athlete and a talented wrestler as well which aids him well playing inside on the defensive line. Pollard isn’t just strong but he’s also athletic and quick for his size too. He reminds me a lot of former Fairmont Senior and WVU standout Darius Still who saw a lot of success in high school and college. The biggest thing with him is continuing to add weight to play inside at the next level and if he can do so he’ll be a very good player in college too.
