2025 Martinsburg DB Brayden Miller Brayden Miller 5'9" | 195 lbs | LB Preston | 2027 WV settled in nicely on the back end of the Bulldogs’ state championship defense and raised his stock inside of our Top 100 rankings. He’s a versatile athlete who helped as a returner on special teams and made some plays in the passing game on offense, but safety feels like his most natural spot at the next level in our eyes. Miller is a ballhawk as a deep safety who has the speed to cover ground quickly when roaming on the back end of the defense. He also showed natural instincts as a DB and put himself in good positions to make plays on the ball. Miller picked up his first offer from WV State in November and should see some more D2 opportunities soon.

Another addition to the Martinsburg program from Musselman who could be an impact player this season is 2025 DB Brayden Miller Brayden Miller 5'9" | 195 lbs | LB Preston | 2027 WV . We got to see him up close at the PRZ WV Combine in May where he earned DB Top Performer honors as a talented two-way WR/DB. Miller will have the opportunity to showcase that versatility this season as Martinsburg will be searching for defensive backs and receivers to step up after losing some serious talent from last season’s State Championship squad. He’s been a 2x First Team All-EPAC player in the past and could three-peat those honors if he can settle in with his new team. Miller will play centerfield as their free safety and has the speed to patrol the back end of their defense.
We’re eager to see how Miller performs on a perennial power this season with the potential to level up his game as a senior.

With the lack of pure defensive back prospects in attendance, 2025 Martinsburg DB Brayden Miller Brayden Miller 5'9" | 195 lbs | LB Preston | 2027 WV was able to showcase another side of his game that we hadn’t seen much of before the event. Although he earned Top Performer DB honors, Miller had just as good of a showing as a receiver. While he’s still a definite defensive back prospect, it was great to see his athletic versatility. Miller was able to show off his ball skills on a greater scale as a receiver and showed he can be a two-way player this season if needed. He’s very good at tracking the ball in the air and adjusting his body to the path of the throw.
Miller has sure hands which is a great quality to have as a DB too and puts himself in a good position to play the ball as a WR and DB. He should be able to earn a starting spot for the state-power Bulldogs as a senior at his new school.

Brayden Miller Brayden Miller 5'9" | 195 lbs | LB Preston | 2027 WV just wrapped up a First Team All-EPAC junior season and will be making the transition from Musselman to state power and defending AAA champions Martinsburg for his senior year. The combine could be very eye-opening for him in terms of how we view him as a prospect and is someone who could see his stock rise in the rankings with a good performance. Miller is a Top 10 DB right now in our 2025 rankings but could make a big jump in the state rankings if he tests well and shows out in 1-on-1s. Our question for Miller will be how well he tests to get a better idea of his athletic ceiling and how will he perform in man coverage in 1-on-1s as a safety prospect? If Miller can answer those questions emphatically, his ranking will see an increase in the summer update.

Musselman WR/DB Brayden Miller Brayden Miller 5'9" | 195 lbs | LB Preston | 2027 WV debuts in our 2025 Rankings for the first time coming in at #106 overall and the #9 ranked defensive back in the class. Miller is still a bit undersized right now but is a very quality athlete who can play a few different positions. He was a First Team All-Conference selection for his play this season in the loaded EPAC as a junior. Quick and speedy athlete who plays safety for the Applemen and plays above his smaller size. Has the versatility to also play slot receiver and a returner on special teams being a quality player in all three phases of the game. Showed good ball skills on offense and defense while having the ability to go up and make a contested catch or break up a pass on defense. Playmaker with the ball in his hands regardless of which phase of the game it is. Has the potential to eventually be ranked as a WR but his upside as a DB is solid.
