Another young 2028 offensive line prospect who we’ve seen improve a lot in a short amount of time is Huntington’s Tripp Setliff Tripp Setliff 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL/DL Huntington | 2028 KY . He was a back-to-back Top Performer at both PRZ WV camps this year and stood out again at the GC Exposure Camp on Saturday. Setliff is tough as nails for his age and also valiantly played center at the camp with a defensive lineman straight across from him. He knows his biggest area of improvement to focus on moving forward is footwork and general athleticism, but once he gets there, Setliff will be a force at center for the Highlanders based on the other traits he’s shown to date.

Another Huntington big man to know for the future is 2028 OL Setliff who is a repeat Top Performer with a back-to-back solid showing from our winter Stock Up Showcase and Saturday’s Combine Series. Setliff is making great improvement and strides athletically while shaping his body to become more flexible and fluid which is expected from young linemen. He’s a tough hard nosed interior lineman which will pay off in the future for him and are traits that are hard to teach. Setliff doesn’t shy away from contact and physicality and welcomes the competitiveness from camp settings which is great to see in a young player.

Another young Huntington Highlander offensive lineman to know is Tripp Setliff Tripp Setliff 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL/DL Huntington | 2028 KY who also earned Top Performer honors at our Stock Up Showcase last month. Setliff is a stocky athlete right now but has the ideal frame for center which he played on the Huntington JV team this past season. He’ll need to keep developing athletically and increasing his length over time but is a strong and physical blocker which we saw live at the Showcase. Setliff is a tough and tenacious battler who gives max effort every snap and rep which will translate to future varsity success once his body develops more.

All three Huntington big men earned recognition at the Stock Up Showcase yesterday morning with fellow 2028 OL Tripp Setliff earning one of two OL Top Performer spots. The young lineman may not be nearly as big as his teammate and classmate Tyler Avery Tyler Avery 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL Huntington | 2028 State WV , but Setliff opened eyes throughout 1-on-1s at center with talented defensive linemen lining head up over him and shading to the side. He and fellow 2028 prospect Jacob Britton Jacob Britton 5'9" | 267 lbs | DL/OL Doddridge County | 2028 State WV had some great battles during the camp with both athletes earning their fair shares of winning reps against each other. Setliff even got bloodied during 1-on-1s but didn’t let it shake him up and got right back in the mix after getting cleaned up. He’ll need to continue to make strides athletically, but Setliff impressed with his strength and technique as a young center.
