2027 Huntington LB CJ Quinn gives the Highlanders another proven playmaker at linebacker alongside Ilias King, forming one of the stronger duos in Class AAAA. After totaling 80 tackles and 8 TFLs as a junior, Quinn enters his senior season with the experience and confidence to build on that production. His ability to play inside or outside gives Huntington flexibility, while his downhill style and pass-rushing ability allow him to impact the game in multiple ways. With the Highlanders replacing experience up front, Quinn’s presence behind the line will be even more important this fall.

2027 Huntington LB CJ Quinn CJ Quinn 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Huntington | 2027 State WV has emerged for the Highlanders this season at middle linebacker through the first four weeks. He has quality size for a junior, listed at 6’0 210, and Quinn appears to also have the athleticism to develop into a future standout. They like to walk him up close to the line of scrimmage and allow his size and athleticism to do the rest. Quinn is explosive out of his stance and can consistently get penetration into the backfield if offensive linemen don’t match his quickness. He’s someone to keep a close eye on over the next year and a half to watch how much he develops, with the potential to be a top linebacker prospect in the 2027 class.
