As expected, 2027 Huntington WR Andreas Reese Andreas Reese 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR/DB Huntington | 2027 State WV was one of the top receivers at the GC Exposure Camp on Saturday. His skill set is perfect for a camp setting during 1-on-1s as a very quick and fast athlete who’s very difficult to defend in man coverage. Reese proved to be one of the fastest athletes at the camp during the 40-yard dash and is working his way to being one of the fastest in the state.

Reese, who was the MVP of PRZ West Virginia camp back in January, was one of the top overall performers at the Steel City 7v7 Tourney. A quick, twitchy athlete, Reese used those traits to create separation at a high rate all weekend.

I happily obliged, as I recall Reese tearing up the turf, specifically during Day One of this event. Taking a look at his WV ranking, it makes all too much sense as to why. Twitchy, plenty of open-space wiggle to his game. Has the burst and COD ability to separate within 15 yards, making him an ideal target at events like this.

2027 Huntington ATH Andreas Reese Andreas Reese 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR/DB Huntington | 2027 State WV made the jump from his freshman to sophomore year the way we expected him to as he now ranks among the Top 15 rising juniors in the state. Reese carved out a role for the Highlanders’ varsity team this season among a stacked receiver group and should continue to expand his touches over the next two seasons. The sophomore speedster showed out at our Stock Up Showcase last month earning WR MVP honors further proving the progress he’s made since his freshman year. Reese has one of the highest ceilings in the 2027 class if he can continue to hit some growth spurts.

Reese carved out a varsity role on a talented Highlanders’ roster as a sophomore this season which speaks to his playmaking ability and promising future. We got to see Reese at our previous camp last spring where he also had a solid showing but stepped up big nearly a year later with an MVP performance. Reese’s skill set is perfect for 1-on-1s given his size and quickness which resulted in numerous winning reps. He’s a twitchy athlete which assists in his route-running ability creating consistent separation during 1-on-1s.
