is a player who stood out to me when breaking down freshman year film. He lined up at inside linebacker where he proved to be very reliable against the run. Marlow reads the play quickly then comes downhill in a hurry to meet the ball carrier before they can get going. He does a great job of finishing the tackle quickly, not allowing any extra yards to be gained. Marlow finished this past season with 32 tackles and three tackles for loss in 13 games. He also recorded one sack as a freshman. Marlow will be a player to keep an eye on moving forward as his role in the Corbin defense continues to grow.

- Named the Division 2 Region 4 Player of the Year last season
- Was selected to the KYMSFA All-Star Classic last year
A punishing and bruising Middle Linebacker that leaves little doubt about his tackling abilities when he delivers a hit. While not the fastest ‘Backer in this write up, he turns into a battering ram at the point of contact. On the offensive side of the ball he plays Running Back and is a North/South runner. Most effective as short-yardage back when lowering his shoulder. Marlow was a rock on both sides of the ball a year ago, as he was arguably the top player on a deeply-talented Corbin Middle School team, which won the KYMSFA Division 2 State Championship. Marlow wil also play baseball for the Redhounds.

is another incoming freshman inside linebacker who impressed last season. Marlow is very reliable against the run, reading the play quickly then flowing downhill with a sense of urgency to get to the ball carrier. He does a great job of using his strength to shed blocks with ease on his way to the ball carrier and he finishes his tackles with a ton of physicality once he gets there. Marlow has also proven to be a reliable ball carrier on offense. Jackson will definitely be a player to pay close attention to as he continues to develop in a very successful Corbin program.

Simply put: Marlow was the Alpha Dog for the Corbin Redhounds this season. At 6-foot and 183-pounds, he has a Varsity-ready body right now. He’s one big muscle and played with power and speed all year. Offensively he played as a Running Back/Fullback type, but his play at Linebacker is what stood out to me the most. In arguably the toughest division in the KYMSFA, he shined brightest.

- Division 2, Region 4 Player of the Year
I don’t pretend to be an expert in all things Kentucky Middle School Football, but for Marlow to bring home the Region 4 Player of the Year, you know he has a ton of ability. Like

, the Division 2, Region 2 Player of the Year, Marlow made his mark on the defensive side of the ball as a Linebacker. Will be entering high school with ideal size, good speed and can lower the boom at any time. He looks like a very good young LB.
