Tayden Mines Tayden Mines 5'8" | 130 lbs | ATH Roman Catholic | 2025 State PA is an explosive athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. He scored as a wide receiver and as a punt retuner. He has legit speed and once he gets into the open field he runs past defenders. He is great at catching short passes and then turning them into bigger plays. He has good hands and catches the ball well in space. Mines is a dynamic player who can do it all as a playmaker.

Dropped a regular season tape 12 days before this post. Another weapon at Roman’s disposal who attempts to make the most out of opportunities while surrounded by equally gifted wideouts and backs. Primarily a screen option when deployed on offense, yet has different route options in some sets. Awesome straight-line speed, allowing Mines to find a crease after the catch near the LOS is a no-brainer. Slants, swings, outs, let Mines work with blocking in the open field and he could break one. The same can be said for Mines when serving as a punt return man. Given the opportunity, Mines could exploit bad/undisciplined punt coverage and take one the distance. He’s competitive too, watch him willingly block and put some kids on their backsides, he hardly weighs 150 pounds. Impressive. Will likely see a larger role next Fall. Good contributor.

Tayden Mines Tayden Mines 5'8" | 130 lbs | ATH Roman Catholic | 2025 State PA was the main recipient of Beals’ production. Three catches, 103 yards, two of his three catches went for touchdowns. Love how the coaching staff utilizes this kid. Both touchdowns came after calling screens at the LOS for Mines, where the young man could get busy in space and make kids look foolish in the open field. The staff trusts Mines with this role, expect two-three screen calls a game if this is what Mines is capable of. Mines is tiny, yet twitchy and can change direction abruptly. He caught some Bulldogs with nasty set-ups in the open field on tape. Worth checking out.
