His footwork is efficient, allowing him to mirror receivers and stay in phase through the route stem. On film, Beyah demonstrates a high football IQ, quickly diagnosing plays and reacting without hesitation. He has the speed to close gaps and contest throws, making him a reliable presence on the back end. His ball skills stand out, as he tracks the ball well and positions himself to disrupt passing lanes. Beyah’s physicality at the point of attack helps him finish plays and limit yards after catch. Those defensive traits clearly contributed to his current ranking and recognition within the 2027 class. However, based on his consistency and instincts on film, there is a strong case that Beyah could be ranked even higher among the top defensive backs in the state with a few more strong performances this upcoming season.

is a good cornerback who is excellent at multiple coverages. He is equally as good a man-to-man defender as a defender in a zone defense. As a man-to-man defender, he has good coverage skills. His ability to cover wide receivers and take away passing lanes is excellent. He seems like he revels in the ability to lock down wide receivers when he covers them in man-to-man. He also has good ball skills as he can get his hands on the ball when it is thrown in his direction. He is also a good tackler who tackles well in the open field. Beyah is a talented defensive back who should only improve going into next season.

at 5’11, 160 pounds. Would love to get verified measurables on this kid. Had a fantastic game against Neumann-Goretti while I was in attendance. Said performance left a lasting impression.
Works really well with space in front of him. Can break on balls from a perimeter alignment and attack wideout catch points with strong stabs. A feisty corner who wants to prove he can handle much bigger match-ups opposite him, his tape proves he can. Can find the football on it’s way down, has natural instincts that help him play the ball. as the pure athletic ability to man-up and stay with elite PCL talent. Can flip his hips and run. Annoying, pesky, this is who is far advanced in technique, especially for his age.

One of the better takeaways from this Saturday’s game was Eesa Beyah‘s performance out on an island against some special Neumann-Goretti wideouts. Beyah is unassuming in size and stature. Don’t let that fool you, this is a DB who plays with an attitude.
Beyah’s Hudl is quiet, as is his Twitter, a real shame considering I wanted to know a lot more about Beyah post-game. I wanted to see how he looked in games against other PCL competition. I have college coaches recruiting 2027 DBs that I could call immediately, I thought about it after watching Eesa Beyah hold down his side of the field. Had Beyah had more tape comparable to what I saw live, I would have sent his name flying. For now, this is a 2027 who I’ll stash for the time being. He’s well on his way to being ranked beside
