is another elite athlete coming out of NJ that deserves immediate recognition. With most of his film displaying his defensive tape, we get a good sense of Nasir’ capabilities in the secondary.
Nasir showed off elite reaction time, having the ability to react to the flow of the play extremely quickly and fly upfield to make the tackle. Nasir’s versatility really allows him to shine as a free or strong safety. He isn’t afraid of contact and can deliver punishing hits near the line, but can also cover sideline to sideline to blanket the entire secondary.
While you can tell how fast Nasir can be, I am excited to see more tape with the ball in his hands. He has shown that he is very nimble in his movement and can smoothly cut to avoid the tackle.
