Coron Russell is a special athlete in the 2029 class. Right now, he is making his mark as a defender. He has played as a linebacker and as a defensive back. At both positions, he does a good job of reading his keys and coming upfield to make tackles in the open field. There are not many prospects with his size (6’2″), strength, and athleticism. He can play all over the field. I did not see any wide receiver film yet, but he can play there as well. Russell is no doubt one of the best prospects in the 2029 class.
