Amasio was the most dominant interior pass rusher in the Trinity League this season. He had 14 sacks in 13 games for St. John Bosco and was arguably Bosco’s best defensive player in the championship game.
His hand speed is top notch and it’s very hard for offensive linemen to get their hands on him. He has good lateral quickness and can get into the backfield quickly even when twisting two gaps over. That ability to twist so far and so fast destroys zone pass protections.
