Santa Margarita defensive lineman JJ Hanne JJ Hanne 6'5" | 280 lbs | DL Santa Margarita | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Georgia on Monday.

Hanne had 22 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble for Santa Margarita last season.

I like him best as a 3-technique but he can play nose as well and has good short-area speed. He’s a big guy who grew up playing other sports and is effective with his hands.

Hanne chose Georgia over 20 other schools that offered him including Alabama, Oregon and Texas among others. He is the first player from California in Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class and the fifth defensive lineman.
