As a tackle, his first step in pass protection is among the best in the class and he has quick tackle feet. In the run game, he overpowers defensive ends and does a good job blocking guys at the second level. Nicholson has been First Team All-Trinity League the last two seasons and made Prep Redzone’s All-Southern California Junior team this season. He transferred to Santa Margarita from JSerra since then.
He chose Arizona State over 11 other schools that offered him including Cal, Stanford and Oregon among others. Nicholson is the third player from California in Arizona State’s 2026 recruiting class.

Nicholson has been First Team All-Trinity League for two consecutive seasons which is very impressive for an underclassman.
His first step in pass protection from the left tackle spot is one of the best in the class and his feet are very quick. He has the speed and footwork to wash out speedy edge rushers in pass protection and the strength to stop power rushers.
As a run blocker, he does a good job getting to the second level and knows how to overpower ends and backers with his upper body strength.
Nicholson recently landed major offers from Arizona State and Oregon.
