Katoanga had two sacks and was causing havoc from the edge all game. His length makes him a matchup problem for offensive linemen and he was crashing down the line to stop the run.

Katoanga stood out among the defensive linemen due to how good he looked physically and how athletic he was in the individual drills.
When one-on-ones came around hr showed a good mix of speed and power moves. I was impressed that he took some reps from the interior even though he is used to being an edge rusher. He’s explosive out of his stance and uses his length to create separation and throws good moves after. 247Sports named him their Alpha Dog of the camp and it was easy to see why.

He immediately stands out when you watch JSerra take the field. He can rush the passer from the edge or the interior and is physical while defending the run.
Katoanga is a basketball player and very athletic for his size.
